Abstract: A movable platform for attachment to a transom of a boat is disclosed. The movable platform includes a planar platform disposed horizontally and a planar frame coupled to an underside of the platform. The movable platform further includes at least one elongated tube coupled to the transom of the boat, wherein at least one element of the planar frame is movably disposed within the at least one elongated tube. The movable platform further includes at least one cylinder disposed horizontally, wherein a barrel of the at least one cylinder is secured to the at least one elongated tube and wherein a piston rod of the at least one cylinder is secured to the planar frame, such that the planar frame is moved horizontally when the piston rod moves within the barrel.

Abstract: A mounting apparatus comprises a plurality of main support tubes securely affixed to the transom and substantially hidden within the hull of a marine vessel. The number of main support tubes corresponds with the number of support units of a lifting device. Each of the support units further comprises a plurality of support members where the uppermost support member is secured to a corresponding main support tube. The main support tubes are housed through the transom and below the deck or flooring of the vessel so that when the support members are retracted, they are concealed, or substantially concealed, within the main support tubes.

Abstract: A transverse cradle assembly comprises at least one pair of a set of cradle assemblies. The set of assemblies is mirror imaged. Each assembly comprises an upper cradle and a lower cradle having a slot therein for mutually and opposedly securing a slidable locking block having an incline. The upper and lower cradles are pivotally joined together at one end. As a device is loaded onto the set of assemblies, the slidable locking block moves along the slots to correspond with the loading of the device. When suitable weight is applied to the ends of the upper cradles, the upper cradle slot engages the incline on the block thus locking it into place. The cradle assembly is secured to a mounting slide and may further be secured onto a platform if desired.
