  • Patent number: 11616698
Abstract: A method for processing a data package to be sent using an application, by an originator of the data package to at least one recipient, the data package having an associated mode of communication, the method comprising the steps of analysing the data package to determine content of at least one field of the data package. The method also comprises the step of generating a characteristic of the data package, wherein the characteristic is based on the mode of communication and the content of the at least one field of the data package; and an incorrect action by the originator of the data package based on the characteristic is determined.

  • Publication number: 20220319712
Abstract: A system and method include one or more processors configured to determine a risk index associated with a risk of exposure to a health threat for each node within a chain of nodes during a stage of a journey. The risk index for each node is based on occupancy characteristics of the node, a set of one or more control measures in effect to reduce the risk of exposure in the node, and a health threat prevalence in a jurisdiction associated with the node. The one or more processors are further configured to aggregate the risk indices for the nodes to determine a risk value associated with the stage of the journey, and to generate a control signal to notify a user of the risk value associated with the stage of the journey.

  • Publication number: 20110276590
Abstract: A method, system and computer program for protecting a user from email and electronic content overload and assisting the user with processing and sorting electronic data by employing intermediate email addresses. The intermediate email addresses can be a user-specific intermediate email address generated in response to the user signing up to the system or a system-specific email address peculiar to the class of email messages to be sorted by the system to which the user can forward emails received at the user's private email address for processing and sorting.

  • Patent number: 7155450
Abstract: In a plant information management system (PIMS, 1), data received from a process device (PCC, 10) is cached by a data logger (2) in blocks. A database controller (4) receives, for each data event, a time string, a value string, and a data quality indicator. The quality indicator is stored by exception only (if “bad”). MSBs of the time string are encoded in a hierarchical database structure of item (process device)—year—day levels. LSBs of the time string, the value string, and quality exceptions are stored as event objects in linked list arrays referenced to a day array object. There is thus no need for an index and the structure provides hierarchical compression.

  • Patent number: 6202999
Abstract: A workpiece support device comprises an array of rods in columns and rows with free ends of the rods forming, a support surface, in which support surface recesses can be created by selectively retracting individual ones of the rods. Each rod is coupled to a respective piston within a respective cylinder and each cylinder has an upper connection for medium pressure, a lower connection for high pressure and a middle connection for low pressure. A trigger piston is provided in a cylinder below the piston. The rod can be caused to extend from the cylinder by applying low pressure to the connection to press the trigger piston downwardly to close the high pressure connection. Such low pressure passes around the lip of a lip seal on the trigger piston and through a connection pressurises the underside of the piston to raise the piston and release it from pressing the trigger piston downwardly. Subsequently pressurising the connections and causes the differential pressure to force the piston upwardly.
