  • Patent number: 11992129
Abstract: A magnetic coupler for attaching a mattress to a bed foundation includes a magnet assembly, a target assembly, and a shunt. The magnet assembly includes a housing and a magnet, wherein the housing is configured to couple the magnet to the mattress. The target assembly is configured to couple a target to the foundation. The shunt is disposed within the housing of the magnet assembly or in the mattress. The magnet assembly and the target assembly are releasably attached when the magnet is magnetically coupled to the target.

  • Publication number: 20240092267
Abstract: A vehicular interior rearview mirror assembly includes a mirror head pivotally adjustable about a mirror support. The mirror head includes a video display device disposed rearward of a prismatic mirror reflective element having a transflective mirror reflector. A touch sensor is disposed at the prismatic mirror reflective element and is associated with circuitry at a flexible printed circuit of the video display device. The video display device is operable to display video images captured by a rearward viewing camera of the vehicle. Light emitted by the video display device passes through the transflective mirror reflector for viewing of displayed video images by the driver of the vehicle viewing the prismatic mirror reflective element. The reflective region of the transflective mirror reflector of the prismatic mirror reflective element reflects at least 40 percent of visible light incident at the front side of the prismatic mirror reflective element.

  • Publication number: 20240065674
Abstract: Disclosed herein are ultrasound probe assemblies that include the probe, a sheath, and an accessory implement that may be selectively attached to and detached form the probe. The implement includes an attachment surface for attaching accessories thereto. The attachment surface includes a defined angle with respect to the head of the probe so that accessories attached thereto are disposed in a defined alignment with the probe. The implement includes a circumferential wall defining a cavity configure to receive the probe head therein. The cavity includes a bottom opening to expose a patient coupling surface of the probe. The assembly may include an ultrasound gel disposed within the opening. The sheath may include a stretchable band to secure the sheath to the probe. The sheath defines a sterile barrier and may be attached to the implement.

  • Publication number: 20200310779
Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided. The method includes detecting a malfunction of a production node in a computer system, identifying a firmware update that addresses the malfunction of the production node, and determining whether the firmware update is identified in a firmware compliance policy that has been validated for use by the production node. The method further includes automatically installing the firmware update on the production node in response to determining that the firmware update is identified in a firmware compliance policy that has been validated for use by production nodes in the computer system and that the firmware update has not already been installed on the production node. In one option, the firmware compliance policy may be validated by a system management application testing the firmware compliance policy in a test system managed by the system management application.

  • Patent number: 9970585
Abstract: This invention differs in design from other flange brackets in its shape and not limited in use as prescribed. The design of this invention differs from existing flange bracket designs in that it uses at least two bisecting section and a two piece assembly design. The “T” formed shape of the metal pieces offers a strength benefit by providing additional and distributed strength along and against the pipe flange. The application of operable fitted bolts tightened with operable nuts increases the strength of the bracket. The ability of the user to install this flange bracket is easily managed without having to cut the flanged pipes. With other repair systems metal pipes have to be cut; bracket installed then pipes reattached usually by welding the pipe or affixing a compression coupler; or with systems having interlaced flanged pieces do not provide the strength along and against a flanged pipe due to their flat construction.
