  • Publication number: 20220138602
Abstract: Provided are architectures, system, methods, and computer program products that provide a user with the ability to define an association of data and/or information from known reference sets perceived by the user as relevant to a subject matter domain, thereby imparting and formalizing some of the user's knowledge about the domain. An associative relevancy knowledge profiler may also allow a user to create a profile by modifying or restricting the known reference sets and windowing the results from the association as a user might refine any other analysis algorithms. An associative relevancy knowledge profiler may also be used to define a user profile used by the user and others. A user profile may be usable in various manners depending upon, for example, rights management permissions and restrictions for a user.

  • Patent number: 10520515
Abstract: Methods, devices, and reagents are described for performing assays for hemoglobin Ale, glycated albumin, and other glycated proteins. The methods involve a ratio determination between glycated protein and non-glycated protein. In some applications, the assay utilizes LOCI for signal generation. This invention is directed to assays and corresponding devices and reagents for detection of glycated protein, particularly including glycated hemoglobin. As is generally understood, such detection is useful in the management of blood glucose levels in diabetic patients and for monitoring the status of pre-diabetic individuals.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 20, 2015
Date of Patent: December 31, 2019
    Assignee: Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc.
Inventors: Victor Manneh, Sergei Svarovsky, Anthony Prestigiacomo

Abstract: Methods, devices, and reagents are described for performing assays for hemoglobin Ale, glycated albumin, and other glycated proteins. The methods involve a ratio determination between glycated protein and non-gtycated protein.

  • Publication number: 20090083208
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present invention provide systems, methods, and computer programs for generating a hypothesis. Specifically, some method embodiments include steps for accessing a system for extracting relationships and determining a relationship rule defining a relationship among a plurality of phrases and a plurality of concepts stored in the system for extracting relationships. Such embodiments further provide steps for parsing a plurality of documents in a data repository according to the relationship rule and generating a hypothesis comprising a previously unknown combination of phrases and concepts being at least partially determined from the parsed plurality of documents. Various embodiments also provide a step for presenting the hypothesis to a user so as to indicate the previously unknown combination.
