Patent number: 6523184Abstract: Disclosed is a ventilation device for removing offensive odors from within and near the toilet bowl, incorporating a modular asymmetrical exhaust airway to permit retrofitting onto a variety of toilet designs. The device may be used with a specially-designed toilet seat containing an internal duct and air outlets on its lower surface, or it may be used with a standard toilet seat by drawing gases from the bowl, through the space between the seat and the rim of the bowl, yet above the flood rim level specified in many plumbing codes. The invention also includes an easily disassemble design for sanitary cleaning.Type: GrantFiled: August 27, 2001Date of Patent: February 25, 2003Assignee: Delpriss Management Services, Inc.Inventor: Anthony Prisco

Publication number: 20030028954Abstract: A toilet ventilation system includes a manifold having an inlet through which gasses may be drawn from a toilet bowl area, at least one outlet, and a hollow interior through which gasses are routed from the inlet to the outlet(s). An exhaust conduit extends from the outlet(s). An air flow inducing element draws air from the toilet area through the manifold from its inlet to the outlet(s) through the exhaust conduit to an exhaust point. The manifold has a bottom surface adjacent the inlet which slopes downwardly in the direction of the inlet, causing fluid which enters the inlet to drain back out of the inlet. In one embodiment, the manifold includes at least one wall extending upwardly from the bottom surface, preventing fluid from traveling through the manifold from the inlet to the outlet(s).Type: ApplicationFiled: October 4, 2002Publication date: February 13, 2003Inventors: Anthony Prisco, Angelo Anthony Cassaro, Nicholas Vincent Montana

Patent number: 6463595Abstract: A toilet ventilation system is disclosed. The system includes a manifold which is connectable to a toilet near an opening of a bowl thereof, and in one or more embodiments, a hollow toilet seat. The manifold has an inlet through which gasses may be drawn from the toilet area, at least one outlet, and a hollow interior through which gasses are routed from the inlet to the at least one outlet. The system also includes an elbow connected to the manifold at the outlet, an exhaust conduit connected to the elbow, and an air flow inducing element for drawing air from the toilet area through the manifold from its inlet to outlet and then through the elbow and exhaust conduit to an exhaust point. In one or more other embodiments, manifold has a bottom surface adjacent the inlet which slopes downwardly in the direction of the inlet, causing fluid which enters the inlet to drain back out of the inlet.Type: GrantFiled: October 18, 2001Date of Patent: October 15, 2002Assignee: Delpriss Management Services, Inc.Inventors: Anthony Prisco, Angelo Anthony Cassaro, Nicholas Vincent Montana, Sr.

Patent number: 5355536Abstract: A bathroom exhaust system includes a ventilated toilet seat assembly, one or more exhaust lines connected to the ventilated toilet seat through a mounting block attached to the toilet bowl behind the toilet seat and an exhaust fan located in or adjacent to the ceiling of the bathroom. The exhaust fan is vented to the outside atmosphere and is controlled by an electrical switch mounted on the wall of the bathroom. The ventilated toilet seat assembly includes a toilet seat that has a hollow interior and is provided with a plurality of vent apertures permitting communication with the interior of the toilet bowl. An exhaust line is provided at the rear of the toilet seat and cooperates with an exhaust passageway in a mounting block attached to the top of the toilet bowl just in front of the water tank and behind the toilet seat. Patent number: 5170512Abstract: A system for exhausting noxious odors from a bathroom and exhausting the same through a ceiling or wall mounted exhaust fan. The system can utilize an existing exhaust fan in the ceiling or wall of the bathroom as found in older buildings or an exhaust fan in a modified version for installation in a new structure. The system is operable to draw noxious odors primarily from the toilet seat having an integral exhaust conduit connected to a duct coupled to the housing of the exhaust fan. Provision is made for an exhaust intake for drawing noxious odors into the exhaust fan housing from a secondary source such as directly from the bathroom. The noxious fumes are vented from the exhaust fan housing to the atmosphere.Type: GrantFiled: December 26, 1990Date of Patent: December 15, 1992Inventor: Anthony Prisco
