Abstract: Systems, methods, and software applications for managing the playing of ring tones and other media files on mobile devices are provided. In one embodiment, a software application executed by a processor of a mobile device tracks the playing of a media file on the mobile device and reports information regarding the playing of the media file from the mobile device to a server over a wireless network. In another embodiment, the media file is provided on the mobile device as a ring tone file.

Abstract: A condenser arrangement for control of condenser temperature and condenser pressure. The condenser arrangement includes a condenser coil and a plurality of fans disposed adjacent to the condenser coil. The plurality of fans are arranged and disposed to circulate air through the condenser coil. At least one baffle is positioned between adjacent fans of the plurality of fans and forms a plurality of channels extending from a surface of the condenser coil. The channels include a variable flow channel having a plurality of adjacent fans of the plurality of fans. The condenser arrangement also includes a control system to control operation of the plurality of fans. The control system is configured to independently control each fan of the plurality of fans in response to a sensed condition.

Abstract: A support system for an air handling unit (AHU) including a first rail supporting the AHU and a second rail supporting the first rail. A vibration isolator is disposed between the first rail and the second rail to vibrationally isolate the AHU from the second rail. The vibration isolator includes a spring secured between opposed spring retainers. An adjusting member threadedly receives the upper spring retainer. The first rail structurally carries the guide member along at least two positions. An angle is secured to the second rail, and the second end of the structural member slidably engages the guide member. Rotating the adjusting member with respect to the spring retainer in one direction compresses the spring between the spring retainers to support the weight of the first rail and the AHU. The angle constrains the AHU to movement along the guide member.

Abstract: A belt tensioning system for a motor and a belt-driven blower each secured inside an air handling unit. The blower rotatably carries a first shaft, a first sheave and a bladed arrangement being secured to the first shaft. A second sheave secured to a second shaft is rotatably carried by the motor. A belt engaging the periphery of the first sheave and the second sheave urges the first sheave to rotate about the first shaft in response to the motor urging the second sheave to rotate about the second shaft. An adjuster having adjustment means is secured to the structure. Actuating the adjustment means in a direction urges the motor either toward the adjuster or away from the adjuster to vary the distance between the first sheave and the second sheave to vary the tension in the belt.

Abstract: An internal network (16) is protected from being overloaded by an excessive number of data packets that originate from a source in an external network (10). In a preferred embodiment, data packet gate (20) receives each incoming data packet and determines whether it came from a trusted source. If it was not from a trusted source, and the number of data packets received recently from the same source exceeds a threshold, then data packets from that source are rejected. Preferably, when incoming data packets from all non-trusted sources exceed another threshold, additional data packets from all non-trusted sources are rejected.

Abstract: A communications unit (10) with a packet subdivider operable on a data packet (200) and an error detecting code generator. An acknowledgement message (NAK) is generated including error detecting code corresponding to packet portions (210-204) from the packet subdivider, thereby requesting retransmission of packet portions. At an originating unit (100) an error detection code is computed for each portion. The computed second error detection code for each sub-portion is compared with the received first error detection code for that portion. Portions for which corresponding error detection codes do not match are identified as bad portions and are retransmitted (220).
