  • Patent number: 11680170
Abstract: An emulsion composition includes an acrylic polymer, a metal silicate, and water. Advantageously, the emulsion composition provides coatings with superior adhesion of coatings to a concrete, clay, or ceramic substrate. In particular, the emulsion composition provides improved adhesion of the silicate primer to the concrete, clay, or ceramic substrate and strong cohesion between the primer and top coat paint allow for a much better overall performance. A method for applying the emulsion composition is also provided.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 29, 2020
Date of Patent: June 20, 2023
    Assignee: Behr Process Corporation
Inventors: Jonathan William Crowe, Gregory Allen Williams, Jens Hentschel, David Anthony Ruiz, Promita Datta
  • Patent number: 11408096
Abstract: Described herein is the application of centrifugal spinning to provide a flexible mechanoluminescent material composed of rare earth metal doped fibers. Rare earth metal doped fibers are formed, in one embodiment, by centrifugal spinning.

  • Patent number: 9546907
Abstract: Dynamic Digital Modulation obtains thermal image data on active semiconductor devices with sufficient sensitivity to be used in situ with packaged devices. These techniques can be applied to dynamic failures, but can also produce quantitative data of actual power dissipation as the device is placed into different operational modes. The thermal image results can be analyzed to assist in thermal management and assessing reliability and failure analysis issues in semiconductor devices.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 18, 2014

  • Patent number: 9542393
Abstract: A method and system for indexing, searching, and retrieving information from timed media files based upon relevance intervals. The method and system for indexing, searching, and retrieving this information is based upon relevance intervals so that a portion of a timed media file is returned, which is selected specifically to be relevant to the given information representations, thereby eliminating the need for a manual determination of the relevance and avoiding missing relevant portions. The timed media includes streaming audio, streaming video, timed HTML, animations such as vector-based graphics, slide shows, other timed media, and combinations thereof.
