  • Patent number: 11277133
Abstract: Various implementations described herein are related to a device having level shifter circuitry configured to receive isolation control signals in a first voltage domain and provide an output signal in a second voltage domain that is different than the first voltage domain. The device may include isolation logic circuitry configured to receive a data input signal in the first voltage domain and then provide the isolation control signals to the level shifter circuitry in the first voltage domain based on the data input signal. The isolation logic circuitry may include control passgates that enable the data input signal to propagate to the level shifter circuitry via the isolation control signals.

  • Patent number: 10879919
Abstract: Various implementations described herein are directed to device having multiple stages. The device may include a first stage that converts an analog voltage signal in a power supply domain into a digitally coded signal. The device may include a second stage that generates a derivative of the digitally coded signal, detects an event of the analog voltage signal based on the derivative of the digitally coded signal, and derives a control signal based on the event. The device may include a third stage that injects current into or sinks current from the power supply domain that is associated with the analog voltage signal based on the control signal.

  • Patent number: 6404245
Abstract: A transfer function generator which generates an output that is a cubic function of the input for use in low voltage, high frequency applications. The cubic function generator creates a signal path through high speed npn devices, thereby allowing the use of high frequencies. Further, the topography of the cubic function generator requires a voltage drop across only two semiconductor devices, thereby allowing use of the circuit in low voltage applications.

  • Patent number: 6321072
Abstract: A transfer function generator provides the ability to provide a non-linear response in a feedback loop to compensate for non-linearities introduced elsewhere in the system. The transfer function generator includes a non-linear function generator configured to provide an output current that is a non-linear function of an input signal representing an error to be corrected. The transfer function generator can also include a linear function generator configure to provide a linear output current as a function of an input current representing the error corrected. Tuning devices can be provided to adjust the turn-on level of the non-linear function generator and the output level of the linear function generator to allow the transfer function generator flexibility in implementation.

  • Patent number: 5432389
Abstract: A gain stage circuit having automatic level control is provided. In particular, the gain stage circuit provides an output voltage signal that is a predetermined multiple of the input voltage signal when the input voltage is less than a predetermined threshold. Moreover, the gain stage circuit provides an output voltage that is maintained at a constant predetermined level and independent of the input voltage signal for input voltages that are above a predetermined threshold. The gain stage circuit includes a rectification circuit, a variable gain stage circuit, a current switch and an operational amplifier. The current switch circuit of the present invention provides either an output current of the rectification circuit or a constant current to a reference input of the variable gain stage circuit. Moreover, the variable gain circuit includes a gain input that is coupled to receive a constant reference current.
