  • Patent number: 12116827
Abstract: A closure member (e.g., door) stop includes a base having a top portion opposite a bottom portion, the bottom portion being configured for affixing to an installation point associated with the closure member, a flexure extending away from the top portion, a cushion comprising an angled face and an impact face, the impact face being configured to interface with the closure member during closing of the closure member, and the angled face being configured to interface with the closure member during opening of the closure member. The flexure provides an operable, bendable connection between the cushion and the base. Also, a lever is operably connected to the cushion and the flexure and configured to move the cushion away from a swing path of the closure member. • Publication number: 20170265517
Abstract: A system and method for using a plurality of micro-beads that possess multiple flavor layers to provide a user of a smoking article a plurality of flavors that change as the flavor layers are exhausted throughout the smoking experience. When an aerosol flows over the plurality of micro-beads, the outermost flavor layer of each respective micro-bead mixes with the drawn in aerosol and is brought to the user to create a distinct, but flavor layer specific, aerosol. Further provided is the individual micro-bead compartment being attached to a reservoir of liquid that is able to be heated, vaporized, and moved through the compartment.

  • Publication number: 20070152102
Abstract: A parachute having radial slots distributed at regular intervals around the shoulder region to effect boundary flow separation, causing Von Karmen Vortex Street shed vortices to separate in a symmetrical manner from the inflated shape and resulting in an extremely stable aerodynamic decelerator. In addition, pressure vents in the crown region vent high pressure air during the inflation process to contribute to opening load control. Once the parachute is fully inflated, the pressure vents provide energetic airflow that ensures that the shed vortices created by the radial slots do not re-contact the canopy and cause instability.

  • Publication number: 20050166444
Abstract: The spinner bait blade is an elongated, flat strip having a twisted portion and a tail portion. The elongated twisted portion is twisted about its own longitudinal axis from a front to a back of the twisted portion. The tail comprises a continuation of the flat strip of material beyond the back of the twisted portion that extends at an angle away from the longitudinal axis. The spinner bait blade may be attached to a conventional spinner bait frame, or to an L-shaped frame. The speed of rotation when the blade is drawn through the water creates the illusion of solid, moving bait, and enables the lure to be used as a spinner bait, a buzz bait, or a surface popper.
