  • Patent number: 11919728
Abstract: A conveyor assembly for raising and feeding debris such as fallen branches from an orchard floor to a processor such as a wood-chipper is provided. The conveyor assembly comprises a body including a floor having a leading end for location adjacent ground level and a trailing end for location above the leading end in use. A ground contact arrangement is located toward the leading end extends beneath the leading end to thereby raise the leading end above ground level. A powered leading feed roller is disposed adjacent the leading end of the floor to direct members from ground on to the floor. A powered, primary infeed roller is located rearward the leading infeed roller and is arranged to move toward and away from the floor to accommodate members between said roller and the floor and urge the members, such as fallen branches rearward for entry into an inlet of the wood-chipper.

  • Patent number: 8769692
Abstract: A method in one example implementation includes generating a plurality of transformed views of an object in a network environment and generating a plurality of filtered information sets. The method further includes detecting a suspect correlation based on an analysis of at least some of the plurality of transformed views and of at least some of the plurality of filtered information sets. In a more specific embodiment, the analysis includes an original view of the object. Other more specific embodiments include applying filters to selected views of the object, where each of the filters is associated with a different obfuscation type. Applying the filters includes transforming obfuscation elements in the plurality of transformed views, where the object contains the one or more obfuscation elements.

  • Patent number: 8555382
Abstract: A method for creating a set of genericized signatures for detection of byte sequences in computer code includes accessing a first set of sample signatures, determining a maximum number of wildcards that a wildcarded signature may comprise, determining a first wildcarded signature corresponding to the first set of sample signatures, evaluating the first wildcarded signature, and repeating the steps of evaluating for any second wildcarded signatures. Each of the signatures corresponds to an instance of malware. The evaluation further includes if the number of wildcards in the first wildcarded signature exceeds the maximum number of wildcards, determining a plurality of second wildcarded signatures corresponding to a plurality of subsets of the set of sample signatures. The evaluation further includes if the number of wildcards in the first wildcarded signature is less than or equal to the maximum number of wildcards, adding the first wildcarded signature to a set of genericized signatures.

  • Publication number: 20130246378
Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product are provided for outputting a signal based on a partial hash comparison. In use, data is identified. In addition, a partial hash is determined utilizing a portion of the data. Further, the partial hash is compared with a plurality of known partial hashes, and an additional hash is conditionally determined based on the comparison. Still yet, a signal is output based on the comparison.

  • Publication number: 20110219002
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for determining similarities between system executable objects includes the steps of determining with one or more computing systems a plurality of subsequences of operation codes in a plurality of disassembled system executable objects, for each subsequence, determining with the one or more computing systems a first set of system executable objects associated with the subsequence, with the computing systems, clustering the first set of system executable objects with a cluster. The cluster includes a set of system executable objects. The step of clustering the first set of system executable objects and the cluster includes the steps of determining with the computing systems the relative similarity between the first set of system executable objects and the cluster, and if the first set of system executable objects is similar to the cluster, adding with the computing systems the system executable objects to the cluster.

  • Patent number: 7558409
Abstract: A system for identifying a user by deriving a digital representation of an analogue form entered by the user, the analogue form being distinctive of the user; and by grading the digital representation against a plurality of grades. The grades are defined dependent upon possible variation in the analogue form. The grades ensure the same grading of the analogue form notwithstanding the variation. The graded digital representation constitutes an identification of the user.

  • Patent number: 6880859
Abstract: A conduit coupling assembly is provided for interconnecting a pair of fluid conveying members placed in a confronting relationship within the coupling assembly. The coupling assembly includes a longitudinally split coupler having a pair of coupling halves rotatable about a hinge. A plurality of engagement members are mounted on the respective coupling halves for connecting the coupling halves. Electrical conductivity is maintained across the coupling assembly by a bonding wire on each of the coupling halves. Each bonding wire provides multiple points of contact with the metallic flanges of the fluid carrying members. Optionally, the flanges of the fluid carrying members and the coupling assembly may be coated with a conductive coating thereby providing a redundant means to prevent buildup of an electrostatic charge.

  • Publication number: 20040140667
Abstract: A positive locking fitting assembly is provided for interconnecting two adjacent structures, such as two modular components of an aircraft. The fitting assembly includes a pair of couplers which attach to the respective modular components, and a transfer tube which interconnects the couplers. Each coupler has a positive locking feature which prevents inadvertent uncoupling during operation. A plurality of redundant seals are incorporated throughout the construction of the fitting assembly which ensures a leak proof relationship not only between the joined pair of modular components, but also through the structure of the elements of the fitting assembly-itself.
