  • Patent number: 12548010
Abstract: A voice controlled (VC) system for onboarding users and exchanging data in real-time over a network is provided. The VC system includes at least one data controller (DC) computing device in communication with at least one voice controlled (VC) computing device. The DC computing device is configured to receive transaction data and voice controlled (VC) data, parse the transaction data and the VC data, and perform a look up in a database using the parsed transaction data and VC data. The VC system is also configured to compare the transaction data and the VC data to stored data, and verify the transaction data and the VC data by matching the transaction data and the VC data to the stored data. The VC system is further configured to generate a message based on the matched data, and transmit the message to a merchant associated with the verified data.

  • Publication number: 20240428248
Abstract: A system and method are provided for electronically verifying age-restricted purchases using biometric data and digital communication. The method comprises: receiving an application from a website via an electronic device; creating a customer account linked to the customer; and gathering biometric information—such as facial structures and thumbprints—using the customer's communication device. An approved customer receives a token. During a purchase, the customer scans an age-restricted product, and the store device prompts for self-age verification. The customer's biometric data is used to access the web application in purchase mode. The store device provides a transaction token barcode/QR code, scanned by the customer, which combines with the customer token to form a request token. This request token is sent to a centralized server for processing. Upon approval, an approval token is received by the store device, authorizing the age-restricted purchase.

  • Publication number: 20230061819
Abstract: The method and system of the present invention allows the present invention to electronically verify age restricted purchases. The method of the present invention includes a step of receiving an application from a website using an electronic device. The next step creates a customer account on the website. The customer account is linked with the customer. The present invention then includes a step of providing biometric information linked with the customer. The biometric scanner is utilizing the native biometric functions of the customer's communication device to gather visual information such as facial structures and thumbprints. The present invention then includes a step of providing a customer token to an approved customer. A customer will scan an age restricted product. The store device will initiate a subroutine asking the customer if they want to do a self-age verification.

  • Publication number: 20220079730
Abstract: A siphoning device suited for automatically removing fluid/blood from a surgical site is described, having a length of sterile flexible tubing that is configurable into a loop, the tubing having a first open end, a second open end, and a central portion. A plurality of holes punctuate the circumference of either the first open end or the central portion of the loop, the one or more sets of holes being distributed along a longitudinal direction of the tubing. A sterile absorbent covering encompasses the one or more sets of the plurality of holes, the covering being permeable to bodily fluids. The siphoning device is connected to a vacuum system that generates a negative pressure, causing fluids that have accumulated in the absorbent covering to be withdrawn into the vacuum system. Accordingly, a durable, simple non-gauze system for automatically clearing blood/fluid from a surgical site is described.

  • Publication number: 20110091286
Abstract: A trim and position control device and method comprising a generally ring-shaped, continuous and unbroken weight formed with a central elongated opening therethrough. The opening is preferably shaped like an elliptical diamond and enables placement of the weight over a pillar valve and pillar valve rotatable pressure control handle onto the top surface of a diving tank. The bottom surface of the weight is preferably concave to promote proper nesting upon the top surface of the diving tank. The weight is secured in place by the connection of a primary stage regulator to the pillar valve of the diving tank, wherein the primary stage regulator is connected to a buoyancy compensator device and second stage regulator. This prevents the weight from being inadvertently detached. The weight enables a diver to maintain desired trim and position in conjunction with the inflation of the buoyancy compensator device.
