  • Patent number: 11980725
Abstract: A catheter interface protection device can include a shield. The shield can include an open bottom, a transparent upper surface, sidewalls, and a cavity at least partially defined by the bottom, the upper surface, and the sidewalls. The device can include a vent. The device can include a clip, a tether, and a latch. A non-therapeutic method of protecting a catheter interface can include extending a catheter in the subject through a slot in a catheter interface protection device, wrapping the catheter at least partially around a clip of the catheter interface protection device, and securing a latch of the catheter interface protection device around the clip. A device for positioning a subject in a prone position can include a padded area including an opening configured to accommodate a catheter interface protection device.

  • Patent number: 10955659
Abstract: A light assembly can have an array of light sources forming rows and columns, where the array comprises a plurality of chips, and each chip comprises a subarray of light sources forming the rows and columns. A boundary between chips in the array can be configured to extend diagonally across rows and columns of the array such that, for each column across which the boundary extends, the first row of the plurality rows may not have a light source disposed in the respective column, but a second row of the plurality of rows has a light source disposed in the respective column.

  • Patent number: 10936061
Abstract: Techniques related to eye tracking using reverse-biased light-emitting diode (LED) devices are disclosed. In some embodiments, a viewing apparatus comprises a reverse-biased LED device that is positioned within a field-of-view of an eye. The reverse-biased LED device receives light reflected from the eye and generates signal based on the received light. The generated signal is used to determine a position of the eye.

  • Publication number: 20140134338
Abstract: A process for plating metal on plastic substrates, particularly ABS substrates, without the use of chrome containing etchants is disclosed. The process involves (i) etching the plastic substrate in an acidic solution of nitrate ions, and preferably silver ions, (ii) conditioning the substrate in an aqueous solution containing an amine or ammonia, (iii) activating the substrate, preferably with a palladium activator, and (iv) plating the substrate with an electroless plating solution. The process allows for complete adherent electroless plating of plastic substrates, particularly ABS substrates, without the use of chromic etchants.

  • Publication number: 20020182337
Abstract: A process for mechanical plating zinc alloys onto metal substrates is disclosed. The process is particularly suited to plating zinc-aluminium or zinc-manganese alloys onto aluminium or magnesium substrates. The zinc alloy particles are immersion coated with tin prior to plating upon the metal substrate. Fluoride ions are preferably added to the plating media to increase plating efficiency, particularly when zinc aluminium alloys are being plated.
