  • Publication number: 20240170887
Abstract: A connection system includes a first connector and a second connector configured for establishing one or more electrical connections through a drape. The first connector can include an alignment protrusion and a first piercing element having one or more electrical contacts configured to pierce the drape. The second connector can include an alignment notch, a channel, and a first receptacle configured to receive the first piercing element when inserted therein. The alignment notch can be configured to accept the alignment protrusion when the first connector is aligned with the second connector then disposed over the second connector. The channel can be configured to allow the alignment protrusion to slide along a length of the second connector. The first receptacle can have one or more electrical contacts configured to form at least a first electrical connection of the one or more electrical connections with the first connector.

  • Publication number: 20240156420
Abstract: Structures and methods operable to detect radiation are described. The structure includes a dual-layer detector imaging device that permits one-shot of x-rays for dual-energy imaging. In one embodiment, a front layer of the detector includes a photon counting detector and aback layer of the detector includes an an x-ray radiation source for absorbing x-ray radiation to separate radiation into low energy and high energy components for incidence upon an imaging object. In an embodiment, the imaging object includes a contrast agent material having a characteristic K-edge atomic energy band level, and the separation filter absorbing the X-ray radiation is near the K-edge atomic energy band level.

  • Patent number: 11960683
Abstract: A display system for sensing a finger of a user applied to the display system includes a display panel; a sensor for sensing the finger; a sensing light source configured to emit a first light having a first wavelength W1; and a reflective polarizer disposed between the display panel and the sensor. For a substantially normally incident light, an optical transmittance of the reflective polarizer versus wavelength for a first polarization state has a band edge such that for a first wavelength range extending from a smaller wavelength L1 to a greater wavelength L2 and including W1, where 30 nm?L2?L1?50 nm and L1 is greater than and within about 20 nm of a wavelength L3 corresponding to an optical transmittance of about 50% along the band edge, the optical transmittance has an average of greater than about 75%.
