Abstract: A method operates a domestic refrigeration appliance. A storage item which is to be arranged and/or is arranged in a refrigeration compartment of the domestic refrigeration appliance is detected in a detection step. In order to provide a method of the type in question having improved properties in terms of comfort, an acceptance storage atmosphere which differs from a target storage atmosphere for storing the storage item in the refrigeration compartment and in which storage of the storage item is still and/or already acceptable is determined in a determination step based on the storage item.

Abstract: A domestic refrigerator has a refrigeration compartment and a container which can be accommodated in the refrigeration compartment and has a lower part for receiving products to be refrigerated and a cover that can cover the lower part. The container has an air inlet opening and an air outlet opening that is at a distance from the air inlet opening. The domestic refrigerator also has a controllable air flow adjustment device and is configured to vary a volume flow rate of an air flow, which enters the container from the refrigeration compartment through the air inlet opening, between at least two values by adjusting an adjustment parameter of the air flow adjustment device. Furthermore, a method ventilates the container which is accommodated in the refrigeration compartment and has the air inlet opening and the air outlet opening.

Abstract: A refrigeration appliance includes a storage chamber, an evaporator that cools the storage chamber, and a processing unit configured to assign values for the air humidity in the storage chamber and an evaporation temperature of the evaporator to one another, at a given temperature of the storage chamber, under the assumption that the absolute water vapor content of the air of the storage chamber is the same as that of water-vapor-saturated air at the evaporation temperature. This assignment makes it possible on one hand to estimate the relative air humidity in the storage chamber on the basis of the temperatures, and on the other hand to control the air output temperature, at constant temperature in the storage chamber, in order to influence the air humidity therein.
