  • Publication number: 20250294347
Abstract: An authentication system for a vehicle for authenticating a number of portable authentication devices to the vehicle has at least one BLE module having at least one BLE antenna and a control unit for controlling the BLE antenna The control unit operates the BLE module alternately in a first operating mode and a second operating mode (B), wherein the BLE module in the first operating mode establishes a connection in a scanning role with at least one portable authentication device which works in an advertising role, and wherein the BLE module in the second operating mode establishes a connection in an advertising role with at least one portable authentication device which works in a scanning role.

  • Publication number: 20250265877
Abstract: A wireless key (1) for unlocking a vehicle and/or for enabling a function of the vehicle. The wireless key (1) has a sensor (10) for motion detection, an evaluation unit (20), and a transceiver (30) which is designed to signal its availability as a connection partner and to wirelessly transmit data to a connection partner and/or to receive data from the connection partner. The transceiver (30) has at least one operating mode (A, B) and at least one sleep mode (C, D) where an energy requirement of the transceiver (30) is lower than in the at least one operating mode (A, B). The evaluation unit (20) is designed to switch the transceiver from the operating mode (A, B) to the sleep mode (C, D) if no movement is detected by the sensor (10) within a predetermined interval and to switch the transceiver (30) from the sleep mode (C, D) to the operating mode (A, B) if a movement is detected by the sensor (10).

  • Patent number: 12286033
Abstract: A seat monitoring system for monitoring a state of at least one seat arrangeable in a vehicle's interior and determining the position of the seat in the interior. The monitoring system has a control module, two sending modules signally connected to the control module, and at least one seat module associated with at least one seat and a receiving module. The two sending modules are spaced apart from one another and each have one antenna, the receiving module has two antennas. A first antenna of the receiving module is configured to receive a signal from a first sending module of the sending modules, and a second antenna of the receiving module is configured to receive a signal from a second sending module of the sending modules. The receiving module is configured to determine signal strengths of the signals received by the antennas of the receiving module for position determination.
