Abstract: A drink preparing device that includes a box and a holding and drip-collecting system that comprises a holding part positionable beneath a drink outlet in order to accept a first, relatively small receptacle, and being configured and dimensioned to be moveable between a deployed holding position suitable for accepting the small receptacle and a second position in which the part is moved at least partly out of the way of the drink outlet to create an unoccupied space in which a second, larger receptacle can be positioned, in place of the first receptacle, beneath the drink outlet.

Abstract: A beverage machine comprising a drip tray device that can accommodate recipients of different heights. The drip tray device is formed of a collect tank and has a first drip support grid removably mounted on the tank for holding short recipients and has a second drip support for longer recipients such as a glass. The whole device is removable for ease of emptying and rinsing. In a possible mode, the first removable grid is provided with a gutter to evacuate liquid in a main collect reservoir.

Abstract: A system for selectively delivering different beverages having different foam levels by injection of a fluid under pressure into a capsule that contains a beverage-forming substance. The capsules include a chamber containing the substance and a beverage dispensing structure adapted to retain a certain extraction pressure in the chamber before allowing the beverage to flow out of the capsule. The system is characterized in that first and second capsules are provided for selective use in the system, with the first capsule having a first beverage dispensing structure configured and positioned therein to retain a first extraction pressure in the capsule, prior to the complete delivery of the beverage, and the second capsule having a second beverage dispensing structure configured and positioned therein to retain a second extraction pressure in the capsule, prior to the complete delivery of the beverage.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a capsule containing a substance for the preparation of a beverage that is designed to be extracted by injection of a fluid under pressure. The capsule comprises a closed chamber containing the substance with at least part of the closed chamber including a retaining part made of a flexible membrane. One or more raised elements that face the membrane are associated with and forming part of the capsule. These element(s) are used to open the capsule due to a buildup of pressure therein. This rise in pressure causes relative engagement of the raised element(s) with the membrane until the membrane ruptures or is torn to release the formed beverage from the chamber. As the liquid of the beverage does not come into contact with the machine, hygiene is improved and cross-contamination is reduced when preparing a beverage from the capsule.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for extracting a substance for the preparation of a drink from a cartridge. This device has a frame with a base, a vertical part on the base and a horizontal part situated at a certain distance from the base. The device also has a moveable drawer that is able to slide over the horizontal part of the frame in order to move the cartridge from its insertion position to a drink-preparing position. This drawer moves over a system of elements for the discharge of the drink on the horizontal part. The device also includes a cartridge extraction system situated over the system of drink discharge elements and able to move towards the said system of elements to trap and extract the cartridge.

Abstract: The invention concerns an ironing board (1) comprising: a working surface (2), a device for adjusting the height of the working surface (2), the support comprising at least two intersecting legs (3, 4) pivoting about a common hinge pin (5), the upper ends (7, 8) of the legs (3, 4) being secured to the working surface (2), at least one of the legs (4) being mobile, its upper end (7) adapted to be displaced in a plane parallel to that of the platform (2). The invention is characterised in that the height adjusting device comprises means for continuous adjustment consisting of a jack (6) made up of a first and a second part (11, 12), the first part of the jack (11) being secured to the mobile leg (4) and the common hinge pin (5).
