Abstract: An adjustment system comprises a strap and an adjustment buckle configured to adjust the strap. The adjustment buckle comprises a body defining a first through hole and a second through hole extending over the thickness of the body. A partitioning wall is fixed to the body. The partitioning wall separates the first through hole and the second through hole in a first direction perpendicular to the thickness of the body. The strap makes a loop inside the body and passes round the partitioning wall. A cover is fixed to the body and installed facing the partitioning wall. The cover and the partitioning wall are separated by a larger distance than the thickness of the strap.

Abstract: A protective helmet includes a head support fixed to a crown. The head support forms a U shape with a frontal part fixed to the frontal part of the crown. The two ends of the head support are fixed to the side walls of the crown via two attachment points. First adjustment parts adjust the length of the head support between the two attachment points and the distance separating it from the frontal part of the crown. A neckband is fixed to the occipital part of the crown and is fitted in movable manner. Second adjustment parts of the neckband adjust the distance between the neckband and the frontal part of the head support.

Abstract: A headband comprises a strip forming a part of a ring around a user’s head. An adjustment device adjusts a circumference of the ring by moving one end of the strip that is fixed to an attachment point movable with respect to the body. A rotary actuator is functionally connected to the adjustment device by means of a transmission so that rotation of the rotary actuator results in movement of the attachment point. The adjustment device comprises a threaded section and a nut. The nut and threaded section forming a helical link, rotation of the rotary actuator results in movement of the nut along the threaded section. The nut or threaded section moves along a longitudinal axis of the threaded section and supports the attachment point. A helmet comprises such headband.

Abstract: A headband for a protection helmet comprises a strip forming at least a part of a ring around a user's head. An adjustment device adjusts a circumference of the ring. The end of the strip is fixed to an attachment point that is movable with respect to the body of the adjustment device. A rotary actuator is connected to the adjustment device by means of a transmission so that rotation of the rotary actuator results in the attachment point being moved with respect to the body. The transmission comprises a flexible transmission shaft configured to transfer a rotary torque applied on the rotary actuator into a rotary torque applied on the adjustment device to move the attachment point and modify the circumference of the ring. A protection helmet comprises such headband.

Each opening is configured to allow passage of a connector, and at least one of the openings is configured to enable the strap to be inserted in the protective enclosure.
