  • Patent number: 11448255
Abstract: A suspension bearing ring suitable for a motor vehicle suspension includes: an outer part, an inner part, and an elastomeric body. In embodiments, the elastomeric body connects the inner part and the outer part, and the inner part includes an inner portion, an outer portion, and at least one connection device. Further, in embodiments, the inner portion extends axially into a space by being coupled to the outer portion via the connection device. In embodiments, the connection device includes a fuse portion that is configured to break when the ring is subjected to a predetermined force, and in which a clearance is provided between the inner portion and the outer portion such that the inner portion can move in relation to the outer portion when the fuse portion is broken.
