Abstract: A personal watercraft includes a deck, a hull, a motor, a propulsion system, left and right sponsons and at least one left fastener connecting the left sponson to the hull, and at least one right fastener connecting the right sponson to the hull. The hull includes a bottom portion, and left and right side portions extending toward the deck from the bottom portion. The left and right side portions have left and right steps, respectively. The left and right steps each include side and bottom surfaces. The left and right sponsons are connected to the left and right side portions, respectively. The left and right sponsons each include a longitudinal portion extending along a respective bottom surface, an upper portion extending toward the deck from the longitudinal portion, the upper portion extending along a respective side surface, and a lower portion extending away from the deck from the longitudinal portion.

Abstract: A watercraft has left and right sponsons movable between raised and lowered positions. For each sponson, an actuatable anchor connects the sponson to a hull of the watercraft; and a guiding slot guides movement of the sponson. The actuatable anchor is received in the guiding slot. The sponson is in the raised position when the actuatable anchor is at a first location of the guiding slot, and in the lowered position when the actuatable anchor is at a second location of the guiding slot. The guiding slot has recessed portions at the first and second locations that are shaped and sized to prevent the actuatable anchor from moving relative to the guiding slot when a handle of the actuatable anchor is received therein and is in the locked position. The actuatable anchor is movable from the first and second locations when the handle is in the unlocked position.

Abstract: A bimini has a collapsible frame having a first support and a second support pivotable about a first pivot axis, a top, a tensioner having a first arm pivotally connected to the first support about a second pivot axis and a second arm pivotally connected to the second support about a third pivot axis and to the first arm about a fourth pivot axis, and a tension adjuster for adjusting a distance between the second and third pivot axes. The tensioner has an unlocked position where the fourth pivot axis is on a first side of a plane containing the second and third pivot axes, and a locked position where the fourth pivot axis is on a second side of the plane. In the locked position, the collapsible frame is not movable from an extended configuration and to a collapsed configuration. A watercraft having the bimini is also disclosed.
