Abstract: A method for configuring a user device to which a plurality of identifiers, each uniquely identifying the user in at least one communications network, is allocated. The method includes, for at least one application: obtaining at least one rule associating, with at least one flow of the application, at least one slice of the at least one communications network for routing data relating to the at least one flow and an item of information connecting the slice to an identifier from among the plurality of identifiers of the user; and configuring the user device with the at least one rule such that it executes the at least one rule when accessing the application.

Abstract: A method for transmitting data from a communication network to an item of user equipment. The method includes: detecting reception of a request to obtain data, sent by the item of user equipment; monitoring whether a session with the item of user equipment through the communication network is established following the detection of the reception of said request; and if no establishment of a session with the item of user equipment is detected before expiration of a period after the detection of the reception of the request, transmitting, to the item of user equipment, at least one signalling message containing the data. Also provided are a network entity, a corresponding system and item of user equipment.

Abstract: A method for transferring to a second control entity control of a remotely-controlled vehicle, called a drone, from a first control entity exercising control of the drone via a first control data stream transmitted through a first communication session established between the first control entity and the drone. The method includes: detecting an event triggering transfer of control of the drone; determining the second control entity by using a list of control entities possessing an authorization for control of the drone, the list including at least one parameter relating to a condition for transferring control of the drone to the second control entity; and establishing transmission of a second control data stream through a second communication session between the drone and the second control entity, the establishment of the second control data stream contributing to an end of the control exercised by the first control entity over the drone.

Abstract: A method for toggling of a management entity in a telecommunications network is described, in which the network operator has defined at least one given set of at least three management entities. In one aspect, the method includes, for a first management entity of the set, as long as said first management entity is in service, during the registration of at least one client device on the network, the first management entity taking charge of this client device. The client device records the identity of the first management entity, as well as the identity of a second management entity of said set, which is provided to it by the first management entity. The first management entity shares or synchronizes with said second management entity the context data relating to this client device. If the first management entity goes off-service, each second management entity is informed thereof and takes charge of the client devices for which it has shared or synchronized the context data with the first management entity.

Abstract: The development relates to the detection of drones. The use of a cellular communication network by drones may cause problems because of interference generated by a user device located on-board a drone flying higher than antennas of the base stations. It is important, for a telecommunications operator, to be able to control use of the cellular communication network by drones. Methods allowing drones to be detected exist. These methods, although they allow a location of a drone to be determined, do not provide a satisfactory detection accuracy. Likewise, they do not allow two drones in similar positions to be distinguished between. The method is based on the use of control signals the characteristics of which are known and on the use of known properties of the transmission channel set up between the base station and the user device, to determine an altitude value that is accurate and reliable.

Abstract: A method and device for detecting the reachability of a terminal previously served by a first access device of a registration area of a communication network. The first access device is unable to manage sleep and waking periods of the terminal. The terminal is then served by a second device of the registration area, which is able to manage the periods. The method is implemented by a management entity of the network, which has not been informed of the change of access device. The method includes: exchanging messages with the terminal for registration and negotiation of the sleep and waking periods of the terminal; obtaining an item of information relating to data to be transmitted to the terminal; and sending a contact-establishment request message to the terminal during a determined waking period of the terminal.

Abstract: A management method is described, the management method implemented by a core network entry device. The method comprises, for at least one terminal connected to the mobile access network via an access point, following the receipt of an NAS request from the terminal, detecting whether a contention period is associated with this terminal. If not, a contention period to be applied for sending NAS requests to the network core is associated with and transmitted to the terminal. If a contention time is associated with the terminal and has not been respected by the terminal a temporary identifier allocated to the terminal for communicating with the network core is sent to the terminal via the access point, and a control message comprising at least a part of the temporary identifier is sent to the access point, the control message requiring blocking by the access point of all or part of the requests sent by a terminal which contains at least one part of the temporary identifier.

The method is implemented by the terminal and includes: reception of messages diffused by access points of the plurality of access points, including an identifier relating to the pertaining of a resource used by the respective access point, called a GRP identifier, to a shared risk group; first attachment of the terminal to a first access point of the plurality of access points; and second attachment of the terminal to a second access point of the plurality of access points, selected according to the GRP identifier thereof and the GRP identifier of the first access point.

Abstract: A method for multiple attachment of a mobile terminal to access points of a plurality of access points of at least one cellular network. The terminal is able to be attached simultaneously to a given number of different access points, called maximum number of attachments. The method is implemented by the terminal and includes: receiving a command to change access point, called handover command, from one access point of the plurality, called source access point; determining a number of handovers in progress; queuing the received handover command when a maximum number of handovers in progress is reached, this number depending on the maximum number of attachments, executing the received handover command when the maximum number of handovers in progress is not reached.

Abstract: A method for managing a standby state of a mobile terminal in a data packet network. The method includes: upon opening a connectivity session for a mobile terminal, a mobility management entity of the network receives a list of areas, known as a “PRA list”, configured according to a given service and a location of the mobile terminal; when the mobile terminal switches from a “connected” mode to a “standby” mode, the mobile terminal receives the “PRA-list” of areas from the mobility management entity via a network access point; when the mobile terminal enters one of the areas included in the “PRA-list” of areas, it switches from the “standby” mode to the “connected” mode, and transmits a notification to the mobility management entity via a network access point.

Abstract: A management method is described, the management method implemented by a core network entry device. The method comprises, for at least one terminal connected to the mobile access network via an access point, following the receipt of an NAS request from the terminal, detecting whether a contention period is associated with this terminal. A mobility management entity receives, for each presence-signaling area of the plurality, an area identifier and a priority level for the area then stores, in a piece of subscriber context related to a subscriber of the terminal, the identifiers and priority levels received in association with an identifier of the terminal. When the load of the mobility management entity is higher than a predefined critical load threshold, the entity suspends the presence-signaling mechanism for the presence-signaling areas, referred to as non-monitored areas, of the plurality in which the priority level is lower than a transitional priority level.
