  • Patent number: 11083250
Abstract: A belt buckle has a pivoting member pivotally attached to a pair of opposing sidewalls at a predetermined position so as to provide a space between the pivoting member and a belt-receiving surface of the belt buckle. The pivoting member is pivotable to a first position wherein the pivoting member contacts a movable belt section of a belt that is positioned on the belt-receiving surface and between the opposing sidewalls so as to prevent movement of the movable belt section in a direction that would cause loosening of the belt. The belt buckle is configured to allow a user to select the side of the belt that will be visible and the side of the belt that will face the user's waist. In some embodiments, the belt buckle includes a built-in light assembly, an item separation alarm circuit and a compass.

  • Patent number: 10085519
Abstract: A belt buckle has a buckle body having an interior region for receiving a belt and a pivoting member that is pivotally attached to the buckle body. The pivoting member can pivot in a first direction to a first position and in a second, opposite direction to a second position. When the pivoting member is in the first position, the pivoting member contacts a section of belt within the buckle. When there is tension on the belt, the tension pulls the pivoting member downward so as to create firm and frictional contact between the pivoting member and the section of belt thereby preventing the belt from becoming loose. When the pivoting member is in the second position, the section of belt can be moved freely through the buckle in one direction to tighten the belt around the waist of a wearer or in an opposite direction to loosen the belt around the wearer's waist or withdraw the section of belt from the buckle.

  • Publication number: 20140150167
Abstract: A garment support apparatus for use with a garment having a waist band. The garment support apparatus has a pliable closed end, and pliable first and second extending sections attached to the closed end and spaced apart from one another. The first and second extending sections extend to distal ends that are spaced apart so as to form an open end of the garment support apparatus. The space between the first and second extending sections is sized to receive a garment waist band. The first extending section has an opening sized for receiving a belt-loop. The second extending section has a first side and an opposite, second side. Friction material is on the first and second sides of the second extending section for frictional contact with an interior portion of the waist band and for frictional contact with a shirt jersey worn by a wearer.

  • Publication number: 20120001433
Abstract: A fluid driven wheel system for generating electricity has a double wheel assembly having a pair of identical wheels mounted in a vertical orientation on a horizontal axle. Fluid receptacles are connected to the wheels adjacent to the perimeters of the wheels and interconnect the wheels. Each fluid receptacle has a single opening for receiving fluid when the fluid receptacle is in a first orientation and for emptying fluid from the fluid receptacle when the fluid receptacle is in a second orientation. The fluid driven wheel system further comprises a pair of momentum wheels. Each momentum wheel is located on a corresponding side of the wheel assembly and is mounted on the horizontal axle so that the wheel assembly rotates with the momentum wheels. Each momentum wheel has a plurality of equidistantly spaced weighted members that provides a smooth, continuous movement of the wheel assembly.
