  • Publication number: 20220388673
Abstract: A propulsion system (1) for a helicopter, comprising a turboshaft engine (2) with a linked turbine and an electric machine (3) capable of operating as an electric motor, the turboshaft engine (2) and the electric machine (3) being capable of driving in rotation at least one main rotor (5) intended to be coupled to a rotating wing (6) characterised in that it comprises means of coupling and decoupling (14) in rotation between a rotor (3a) of the electric machine (3) and a rotor (2a) of the turboshaft engine (2), the means of coupling and decoupling (14) being capable of allowing the rotor (2a) of the turboshaft engine (2) to be driven in rotation with the aid of the electric machine (3), in a first state of the propulsion system (1), and capable of allowing the rotor (2a) of the turboshaft engine (2) and the rotor (3a) of the electric machine (3) to be decoupled in rotation, in a second state of the propulsion system (1).

  • Patent number: 11391203
Abstract: The invention relates to an aircraft propulsion system, comprising a main transmission unit (12) and at least two turbojet engines connected to the main transmission unit (12), respectively a first turbojet engine (14a) and a second turbojet engine (14b), each turbojet engine comprising a free turbine (24a, 24b), characterized in that the first turbojet engine (14a) comprises a heat exchanger (30) configured to recover some of the thermal energy from the exhaust gas at the outlet of the free turbine, and in that the propulsion system comprises at least one computer (28a, 28b) configured to control the two turbojet engines and to limit the acceleration and the deceleration of the first turbojet engine (14a) when neither of the turbojet engines is broken down, in order to limit the reactor power transients at the heat exchanger (30).

  • Patent number: 9027592
Abstract: A valve comprises a support including an exhaust gas passage opening, a plug able to move by tilting between a plugging position and a release position of the passage opening, and an elastic strip for returning the plug to its plugging position. The elastic strip has a first end fastened to the support and a second end bearing on the plug. The second end is able to slide on the plug between a first position, in which the plug is in the plugging position, and a second position, in which the plug is in the release position. The plug includes a stop forming a hard spot that cooperates with the second end of the elastic strip when the elastic strip is in the first position, so that this stop forms an obstacle for movement of the second end of the elastic strip from the first position to the second position.
