  • Patent number: 10704552
Abstract: A vacuum system is disclosed. The vacuum system includes a first pump bay and a second pump bay enclosed by an enclosure. Each pump bay houses a motor and a vacuum pump driven by the motor. An inlet manifold and an exhaust manifold are in fluid communication with the first and second pump bays. The inlet manifold and the exhaust manifold are arranged to flow air through the pump bays to cool at least the vacuum pumps.

    Assignee: POWEREX/IWATA AIR TECHNOLOGY INC.
Inventors: Gregory Ellsworth Seaver, Joseph Anton Abt
  • Patent number: 10359044
Abstract: A compressor system is disclosed. The compressor system includes a motor, a compressor driven by the motor, a first after cooler, a second after cooler, and a heat exchanger housed in an enclosure. Interior panels are arranged in the enclosure to separate the motor and compressor, the first after cooler, the second after cooler, and the heat exchanger from one another. Conduit extends through the interior panels to provide a fluid path between the compressor, the first after cooler, the second after cooler, and the heat exchanger. Ducting is provided in the enclosure to provide fluid communication between various components of the compressor system.

  • Patent number: 4555969
Abstract: A circular panel saw is supported by a slide (7) slidably mounted for up and down movement on a guide carriage (2) which in turn is mounted for horizontal back and forth movement on a substantially upright frame or rack (1). The guide carriage (2) has a carriage head (3) connected to a carriage foot (4) by a support beam (5) and an abutment beam (6) extending in parallel to each other and made of conventional sectional steel. These beams (5, 6) are die drawn or bright drawn whereby an inexpensive and simple construction of the guide carriage is possible. The die drawn beams require very little machining and a small or hardly any readjustment. Yet, the present saw makes accurate, straight cuts.

  • Patent number: 4417675
Abstract: Apparatus for melting and applying meltable adhesive in which a separate melting insert including a melting wall is interposed between the melting chamber and the application device. The melting wall is formed with projections or cones, and channels for passing molten adhesive to the nozzle body of the application device. A piston in the melting chamber presses a unit of adhesive against the melting wall. The melting wall is independently heated by a heater and controlling temperature sensor. The nozzle body and melting insert/melting wall are formed of different metallic materials, the latter being made of light metal alloy for better thermal conducting response. The melting insert forming the melting wall is removable to facilitate the cleaning and maintenance.

  • Patent number: 4167229
Abstract: A screw strip for holding a row of parallel screws is formed of a flexible plastic material with sleeves which either only partially surround the screws, or have different wall thicknesses on different sides of the screws. The ribs interconnecting the sleeves have wall thicknesses less than the outer diameters of the screw threads. In a method for forming the screw strip, a plastic material is extruded only on one side of the threads of a row of screws, and it is then pressed by means of grooved rollers to be formed into the sleeves which only partially surround the screws.
