  • Patent number: 4743137
Abstract: This invention relates to a tool with at least one wear-resistant hard metal part which serves to process production pieces, stones, or the like, wherein the hard metal part is firmly connected with a metallic carrier by solder located in at least one solder aperture. In order to reduce the danger of formation of tension cracks in the hard metal part, the invention provides that at least one predetermined weak point is created in the solder aperture.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 29, 1986
Date of Patent: May 10, 1988
    Assignee: Siku GmbH

  • Patent number: 4497260
Abstract: Flat pallets made up to now out of extruded sections which are joined together, sometimes with additional ribbing for extra strength, have often exhibited disadvantages during assembly and when being repaired or having parts exchanged. The reason for this is that joining the parts together has up to now required a considerable amount of time and is expensive. To overcome these disadvantages, the cross beams and long beams of a pallet 10, made out of extrusions 12-22, are releasably and simply joined together by means of wedges 28.

  • Patent number: 4039036
Abstract: Weighing apparatus of the electromagnetic load compensation type is disclosed including zero-position detector means for generating a position signal that is a function of the extent to which a loaded weighing pan or the like is displaced from its no-load position, and regulating means responsive to said position signal for generating a compensating current for displacing the weighing pan toward its no-load position, characterized by the provision of filter means connected between the zero-position detector and the regulating means for suppressing the undesired extraneous interference acceleration signals produced, for example, by external shock or vibration forces imparted to the weighing apparatus. In one embodiment, the filter electrical components are constant, and in a second embodiment, means are provided for varying the electrical characteristics of at least some of the filter components as a function of the load applied to the weighing pan.
