  • Patent number: 4947285
Abstract: For the purpose of achieving an efficient and long-lived switching contact making on the basis of a structural design saving space and material, a reversing circuit for direction reversal in the case of direct current drives comprises four single-pole contactors which are arranged in a square and which are provided with coils 1 and with contact bridges 2 as well as four contact pieces 3 for connecting the outer terminals with fixed contacts formed by said contact pieces 3, the contact pieces 3 being arranged on one side of the coils in a square within one plane.

  • Patent number: 4621247
Abstract: A completely closed two part casing for a circuit breaker and having a first part provided with compartments for receiving a magnetic drive, a movable contact bridge and a return spring; and a second part receiving stationary contacts cooperating with the bridge when the two parts are interconnected and protectively contain the contacts and contact bridge.

  • Patent number: 4491812
Abstract: A particular overload protection is provided for a circuit which is normally closed by an electromagnetic circuit breaker energized by a relatively low level holding current. The overload protection is particularly provided through an auxiliary electromagnetic system connected to be responsive to the current in the circuit governed by the circuit breaker whereby the auxiliary electromagnetic system includes an armature carrying a plunger penetrating the circuit breaker such that upon occurence of an overload the auxiliary electromagnetic system is energized and its plunger pushes the armature of the circuit breaker into a contact opening disposition.

  • Patent number: 4032869
Abstract: The non-electric portion of the relay is constructed in two part configuration, one part being a coil carrier having a flange with wall structure covered by the other part, a head piece. The head piece has partitions to define arc chambers and carries one set of contacts and blowing magnets on the outside, the wall structure of the flange carries the other set of contacts and establishes internally the pivot path for the armature on the flange. The parts have indexing means for positioning and are bolted together.

  • Patent number: 4004260
Abstract: The relay has a tube as coil/core carrier with end flanges, one flange being continued in a box like enclosure containing and pivoting the armature. Contact pieces reach into the enclosure, while a nose on the armature extends out of the enclosure for limiting the armature stroke and for actuating an auxiliary switch. A spring inside of the electromagnet bears against an armature plate which is pivoted on the yoke arm ends; the yoke is fastened to an exposed outer end of the magnet. The counter contacts are suspended by springs on the armature.
