  • Patent number: 11171598
Abstract: A solar or photovoltaic system includes a cleaning apparatus for cleaning a surface of the solar or photovoltaic system. The surface to be cleaned is tilted or tiltable respect to the horizontal. The cleaning apparatus is configured to carry out a cleaning process to clean the surface in which at least one cleaning element moves downward over the tilted surface driven by gravity.

  • Patent number: 10788242
Abstract: An apparatus for cleaning a surface of solar collectors or photovoltaic installations includes at least one cleaning head that comprises at least one cleaning member. The cleaning member can be set into rotation. The apparatus also includes a movement device for moving the cleaning head over at least a part of the surface to be cleaned. The movement device has a first movement unit movable in a first direction and a second movement unit. The cleaning head is movable transversely or obliquely to the first movement direction by the second movement unit along a guide that is connected to the first movement unit. A drive device that is arranged at the first and/or second movement units makes it possible to automatically move the first movement unit in dependence on a position of the second movement unit.

  • Publication number: 20180003413
Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for cleaning a surface, in particular at solar collectors or photovoltaic installations. The apparatus has at least one cleaning head that comprises at least one cleaning member. The cleaning member is in particular a brush that can be set into rotation. The apparatus furthermore has a movement device for moving the cleaning head over at least a part of the surface to be cleaned. The movement device has a first movement unit movable in a first direction and a second movement unit. The cleaning head is movable transversely or obliquely to the first movement direction by means of the second movement unit along a guide means that is connected to the first movement unit. A control means that is arranged at the first and/or second movement units makes it possible to automatically move the first movement unit in dependence on a position of the second movement unit.

  • Patent number: 7552878
Abstract: The invention relates to a rotor nozzle, in particular for high pressure cleaning devices, having a nozzle housing which has a swirl chamber between an inflow opening for a fluid, in particular water, and a discharge opening, with a rotor inclined with respect to a longitudinal axis during operation being supported at its front end at a bearing, in particular at a cup-shaped bearing, in said swirl chamber and with the rotor being able to be driven to make a rotating movement around the longitudinal axis by fluid flowing into the swirl chamber, wherein an adjustment device is positioned in front of the swirl chamber for the speed regulation of the rotor and forces the inflowing fluid to make a rotary movement around the longitudinal axis for the generation of a rotating fluid field before the transition into the swirl chamber, and wherein the rotating fluid field is disrupted more or less pronouncedly on the transition into the swirl chamber in dependence on the position of the adjustment device.
