  • Patent number: 6802349
Abstract: An anti-skid device for motor vehicle with pneumatic tires comprising at least two arms at an angle to each other next to the rim when in the installed state, a fastening device for attaching the arms to a wheel of a motor vehicle with an adapter part which can be attached to at least two lug bolts or lug nuts and with a coupler connected to the arms. The coupler can be connected to the adapter part and for this purpose has at least one locking part which can be inserted into at least one opening in the adapter part and fixed in place. The adapter part also has at least two mounting holes through which it can be attached by means of clamping heads to the lug bolts or lug nuts.

  • Patent number: 6089604
Abstract: A wheeled chassis including at least one traction bar pivotable about a horizontal axis between a substantially vertical position and a substantially horizontal, towing position, and two spaced from each other axle elements for supporting each pair of freely rotatable wheels, a driving wheel supported on the chassis, and a device for steering the driving wheel about an upright-extending axes, with the wheels supported by one of the two axle elements pivoting about vertical axes, with the pivotal wheels forming apexes of corners of an imaginary rectangular frame and with the driving wheel being located inside of the imaginary rectangular frame adjacent to a longitudinal side of the frame in an offset relationship with respect to a vertical longitudinal central plane of the chassis, while the pivotal freely rotatable wheels located in a trailing relationship with respect to the driving wheel in to a towing direction of the chassis.

  • Patent number: 4827637
Abstract: The apparatus for clearing a trafficked surface such as a road, express highway and airport runway of snow, slush, water, dirt and the like comprises a framework in which two rotatable drums are mounted and around which a conveyor belt for the material to be cleared movable transverse to the direction of travel or inclined in the operating location is guided. The conveyor belt is movable into a position inclined at an acute angle with respect to the normal of the trafficked surface. One of two strands of the conveyor belt is contactable on the trafficked surface while the other oppositely movable strand of the conveyor belt is liftable from the trafficked surface.

  • Patent number: 4261116
Abstract: In a snow-removing device including a slinger-wheel, the slinger-wheel is preceded by a cutting and conveying mechanism consisting of individual cutting-ejecting segments angularly spaced apart. Cutting elements ensure that wet or hard-frozen snow is broken up and cut loose. Conveying-ejecting elements pass the cut-up snow to the slinger-wheel and provide suitable preliminary acceleration of the snow. The ends of the conveying-ejecting elements are secured to two cutting elements displaced circumferentially in relation to each other by approximately 60.degree. to 120.degree.. Each cutting-ejecting segment comprises at least two conveying-ejecting elements with approximately constant radial spacing along their entire length.
