  • Publication number: 20130206683
Abstract: In a method for producing a polyamide nanofiber product that contains PTFE particles, a spinning solution containing polyamide, PTFE, and a conductivity-increasing additive is provided and nanofibers are produced by electrospinning from the spinning solution. The conductivity-increasing additive is an acid-resistant additive; a surfactant additive; or an acid-resistant and surfactant additive and contains one or more organic salts. The polyamide nanofiber product with PTFE particles is used in filter media and is especially applied to a filter layer of cellulose or synthetic material.

  • Publication number: 20120267891
Abstract: A connecting socket for a filter hose has an inner part having a first contact surface extending in circumferential direction on the inner part and an outer part having a second contact surface extending in circumferential direction on the outer part. A contact section of a filter hose is contacting the first and second contact surfaces when secured on the connecting socket. The outer part has an outer sleeve that is pushed onto the inner part such that the contact section of the filter hose is clamped between the first and second contact surfaces.

  • Publication number: 20110220566
Abstract: In a method for manufacturing a filter end disc (7), for example for a fluid filter (14) of a motor vehicle, a first plastic molding material (M1) and a second plastic molding material (M2) are injected in succession into a tool mold (1) in a monosandwich method or co-injection method in such a way that the second plastic molding material (M2) is substantially surrounded by the first plastic molding material (M1). To manufacture a fluid filter, the filter end disc (7) is further irradiated by a radiation beam (L) having pre-determined beam characteristics for melting the first plastic molding material (M1), and a filter material (15) is applied to the at least partially melted first plastic molding material (M1). A filter end disc (7), in particular for a fluid filter (14) of a motor vehicle, said disc being manufactured according to a monosandwich method or co-injection method, comprises a first outer plastic molding material (M1) and a second inner plastic molding material (M2).

  • Patent number: 7914725
Abstract: A plastic end disk for a hollow-cylindrical filter element has an end face plastic layer and a neighboring plastic layer. The end face plastic layer is transparent for infrared radiation. The neighboring plastic layer is absorbent for infrared radiation. The plastic end disk is connected to a folded filter medium in that the end face plastic layer is trans-irradiated with an infrared radiation source, wherein the infrared radiation is absorbed in the neighboring plastic layer so that a portion of the neighboring plastic layer and a portion of the end face plastic layer are completely melted. The infrared radiation source is removed and the filter medium is pressed into a melted area of the end face plastic layer. The filter medium is secured in the pressed-in position in the end face plastic layer until a fixed connection of filter medium and end face plastic layer has been formed.

  • Publication number: 20090101554
Abstract: A filtering device has a filter cup made from plastic material, a filter element inserted into the filter cup, and a filter lid closing off the filter cup. At least one labeling surface is provided on the filter cup. The at least one labeling surface is a plastic film provided with at least one labeling and is applied to the filter cup by in-mold labeling.
