    Abstract: Reinforced polyimide compositions that include a reinforcing filler and a polyamide flow promoter improve flow promotion while maintaining other mechanical, thermal, flame and/or electrical properties of the compositions. The compositions may include an inorganic or organic reinforcing filler, a polyimide resin such as polyetherimide or polyamideimide and a small amount of an aromatic or aliphatic polyamide as the flow promoter. The resulting compositions may be used in thinner-wall applications while still retaining the advantageous physical properties of reinforced polyimide compositions not having the flow promoter.
