  • Publication number: 20160060463
Abstract: The invention relates to paste preparations containing 0.5-30% w/w chemically unmodified rice bran wax, —0.5-30% w/w paraffin wax, selected from the group of macrocrystalline and microcrystalline paraffins and Fischer-Tropsch paraffins, —optionally up to a maximum of 10% w/w polyethylene wax, —optionally up to a maximum of 10% w/w native or chemically modified recent or fossil vegetable waxes and—organic solvents to make up to 100% w/w.

  • Publication number: 20070031361
Abstract: Cosmetic, pharmaceutical or dermatological preparations are described which comprise one or more homopolymer and/or copolymer waxes of the monomers ethylene and/or propylene. The homopolymer and copolymer waxes have a weight-average molecular weight Mw of less than or equal to 25 000 g/mol, a number-average molecular weight Mn of less than or equal to 15 000 g/mol, a molar mass distribution Mw/Mn in the range from 1.5 to 10 and have been obtained by metallocene catalysis. The copolymer waxes comprise, based on the total weight of the copolymer waxes, 0.1 to 30.0% by weight of structural units originating from the one monomer and 70.0 to 99.9% by weight of structural units originating from the other monomer.

  • Publication number: 20060287427
Abstract: The present invention relates to preparations for polishing and treating hard surfaces, preferably floors, which comprise esters of polycarboxylic acids with monoalcohols or of monocarboxylic acids with polyols. In particular embodiments the preparations of the invention may further comprise polymeric(meth)acrylic acid (esters) and/or styrene-(meth)acrylic acid (ester) copolymers and additionally, if desired, polyethylene wax dispersions as well.

  • Publication number: 20060188459
Abstract: Cosmetic, pharmaceutical and dermatological preparations are described which contain copolymer waxes. The copolymer waxes contain structural units which are derived from ?-olefins having 26 to 60 carbon atoms, from maleic anhydride, maleic acid or salts thereof and optionally from further monomers.

  • Publication number: 20060104940
Abstract: Cosmetic, pharmaceutical and dermatological preparations are described which contain copolymer waxes. The copolymer waxes contain structural units which are formally derived from ?-olefins having 26 to 60 carbon atoms, derivatives of (meth)acrylic acid such as esters, amides or salts and optionally further monomers.

  • Patent number: 5306437
Abstract: Copolymers prepared by free radical polymerization of a C.sub.12 --C.sub.60 -.alpha.-olefin with a carboxylic acid of the formula CH.sub.2 .dbd.CR.sup.1 --COOH, a carboxylic acid ester of the formula CH.sub.2 .dbd.CR.sup.1 --COOR.sup.2 and, if appropriate, a styrene compound prove to be highly active lubricants and release agents in polymers, in particular in polyvinyl chloride, which scarcely influence the transparency of the polymers.
