  • Patent number: 10464508
Abstract: A switching arrangement for discharging an energy storage device of a motor vehicle including an energy storage device that stores electrical energy and supplies an electrical machine of a motor vehicle, a discharging circuit having a discharging resistor, a voltage comparison element and an activation switching device. The activation switching device starts discharging the energy storage device via the discharging resistor at the end of a delay period after the motor vehicle has been switched off. The voltage comparison element compares the prevailing voltage of an energy storage voltage and a voltage threshold value and terminates the procedure of discharging the energy storage device if the prevailing voltage of the energy storage device is less than or equal to the voltage threshold value.

  • Patent number: 9590480
Abstract: An electric machine comprises a rotor (200) equipped with permanent magnets (204, 206, 208, 210), and a stator (100) equipped with electromagnetic poles. The electric machine is characterized in that several adjacent electromagnetic poles respectively constitute an electromagnetic pole group in which the adjacent electromagnetic poles are spaced apart at a first electromagnetic pole spacing, that adjacent electromagnetic poles belonging to different electromagnetic pole groups are spaced apart at an electromagnetic pole spacing greater than said first electromagnetic pole spacing, that each electromagnetic pole group has an even number of electromagnetic poles, and that adjacent electromagnetic poles of an electromagnetic pole group are linked to each other so as to generate magnetic fields of opposite direction in operation.

  • Patent number: 6539332
Abstract: A process for installing axle springs on vehicles having different spring supported bodies and components mounted on such bodies, generally consisting of creating a database comprising loads of each of such bodies and components, identifying the body and components of each of such vehicles, accessing the database to retrieve data representing the composite load of the identified body and components, identifying axle springs having load capacity ranges sufficient to support the identified load and installing the identified axle springs on the vehicle body.
