  • Patent number: 7504602
Abstract: The invention relates to a suspended control device (20) which is suspended by means of a control line (1, 24) connected to a unit to be controlled (21). Said suspended control device is especially a control switch or a suspended push-button switch for controlling hoisting equipment, the control line (1, 24) comprising electrical lines (2) for transmitting control signals, and a traction relief element (22) which is supported at the top, on the unit (21), and used to absorb weight and tractive forces. The aim of the invention is to provide a suspended control device (20) whereby the length of the control line (1, 24) can be easily changed. To this end, a storage element for receiving and releasing a defined length of the electrical lines (2) is provided behind the region wherein the traction relief element (22) is supported, seen in the direction of the unit (21) from the suspended control device (20).

  • Patent number: 7422542
Abstract: A method for monitoring a chain pulley block and a chain pulley block apparatus with an electric actuator motor (2) that is connected at the drive side to a transmission (7) across a sliding clutch (14). In order to achieve a safe operation of the chain pulley block, the speed of the transmission (7) is determined via a sensor (18), the determined speed of the transmission (7) is compared in a control device (19) to the operating speed of the actuator motor (2) as determined from rated duty of the actuator motor (2) and if a deviation is found between the speed of the transmission (7) and the operating speed, allowing for tolerances and any transmission ratio of the transmission (7), the actuator motor (2) is switched off.

  • Patent number: 7119295
Abstract: The invention refers to a hanging control device connected to a unit to be managed, specifically control switches or hanging control panels in order to control hoisting gear, by means of a control line, whereby the control line contains electrical lines (2) to transmit control signals and strain relief, which is supported at the top of the unit to absorb weight and traction forces. In order to create a hanging control device for which the length of the control line can be easily changed, we suggest that strain relief be created by means of hose (6), which can be folded flat and has the design of a type of textile hose, and that electrical lines (2) run through the inside of the hose.

  • Patent number: 7068009
Abstract: The invention concerns a drive arrangement of a lifting gear and/or a traveling gear, with a pole-reversible rotary-current motor with windings for at least two different actuating speeds, with a pole switching element connecting the rotary-current motor to a voltage supply for changing between the actuating speeds of the rotary-current motor. In order to create a drive arrangement of a lifting gear and/or a traveling gear with a rotary-current motor, whose switching behavior is optimized in relation to the actuation of the rotary-current motor, it is proposed that a power switching element (3) be hooked up in front of the pole switching element (5), and it can be separated from the voltage supply via the power switching element (3) for the pole switching process of the rotary-current motor (2).

  • Patent number: 6595493
Abstract: A device for controlling a motor-driven hoist, includes a housing and a control unit supplied with electric energy from a power source and secured to the housing. The control unit has control elements operable from outside the housing between an inactive ready position and an active position for delivering control signals. A transmitter is supplied with electric energy from the power source and receives the control signals from the control unit for wireless transmission of the control signals to a receiver, which is operatively connected to a power controller of the drive of a motor-driven hoist. An activation switch is so operatively connected to the power source that actuation of a control element initiates a supply of electric energy from the power source, whereas the supply of electric energy from the power source is cut, when the control elements occupy their ready position.
