  • Publication number: 20230398623
Abstract: An electrode clamping device is provided for mechanically clamping a non-fusible, rod-shaped welding electrode in a welding torch. The electrode clamping device has a collet which is mounted into the welding torch from the rear into a collet housing of the electrode clamping device, which surrounds the collet. The collet is arranged so as to be movable along the longitudinal axis of the rod-shaped welding electrode relative to the collet housing, which surrounds it, in order to mechanically fixedly clamp and release the rod-shaped welding electrode.
