Publication number: 20230211563Abstract: Process for manufacturing inflatable bodies capable of assuming a desired complexly curved shape comprising two, around their circumference hermetically bonded opposing membranes (3, 4), which are internally linked by a plurality of link tapes (1), which tapes are bonded at an exact length and inclination angle at an exactly determined position. By numerical instructions, a continuous tape is fed and bonded alternately on the insides of the membranes by means of a roboticized tape positioning head, creating bond lines (2) between the tape and a membrane. Any fold occurring through local inclination, or planar angle variation of the tape relative to a membrane is kept between two bond lines on a membrane (3,4). A roboticized tape positioning and bonding head inside, and a bond activation head outside of a membrane can position relative to a membrane (3,4) by means of printed positioning marks, optical and proximity sensors to create the bond lines (2).Type: ApplicationFiled: March 23, 2021Publication date: July 6, 2023Applicant: Shapewave group B.V.Inventor: Anton Rudolf ENSERINK

Patent number: 10336413Abstract: A kite control bar having a line guide extending with a fixed pawl towards one end. A reel is pivotally mounted towards one end of the control bar and extending into the line receiving channel. The reel has a fixed shaft with a knob on the shaft to enabling manual rotation of the reel. The reel has a ratchet gear. The reel is pivotally movable from an engaged positioned in which the ratchet gear of the reel is engaged with the pawl on the control bar thereby preventing rotation of the reel and a disengaged position in which the ratchet gear of the reel is disengaged from the pawl on the control bar thereby allowing rotation of the reel. The reel is biased into the engaged position. The reel is moved from the engaged position to the disengaged position by pushing the knob away from a center of the control bar.Type: GrantFiled: October 7, 2016Date of Patent: July 2, 2019Assignee: OCEAN RODEO SPORTS INC.Inventors: Anton Rudolf Enserink, Richard Kerr Myerscough

Patent number: 9758221Abstract: A sport harness for use with a kite or other propulsive device having a quick release feature whereby the user may release himself or herself from the harness while being pulled by a kite. The quick release feature including an interconnection between a spreader bar and one part of a two part waist band closure whereby releasing one end of the spreader bar causes the closure to separate. A harness having vent openings. An overlay for impeding tangling of lines with a harness.Type: GrantFiled: September 3, 2014Date of Patent: September 12, 2017Assignee: Ocean Rodeo Sports Inc.Inventors: Ross Harrington, Richard K. Patent number: 9567072Abstract: A hollow kite control bar is provided with means for sliding access to the bar for one or multiple lines or groups of lines. Each line has one end towards the kite and the other towards the bar. The length of each line between the kite and the bar can be adjusted by pulling into and releasing from the bar, which length or lengths can be locked at multiple positions in one or more locking means fixed to the bar. The excess line length pulled in is automatically held inside the bar.Type: GrantFiled: March 18, 2013Date of Patent: February 14, 2017Assignee: Ocean Rodeo Sports Inc.Inventor: Anton Rudolf Enserink

Publication number: 20150182847Abstract: A riding board adapted with one or more foot retaining mechanism allows rotation of a foot in a plane extending parallel to the riding board. Each foot retaining mechanism comprises a rotatable foot support section relative to the retaining mechanism and adapted with an arrangement for forming at least a boot ramp or part thereof. The boot ramp is dimensioned in such a way that the heel and the toes extend sufficiently outside of a rotatable center section to be able to press on a fixed locking support section relative to the retaining mechanism. Thus, when the heel, toes or all are pressed against the locking section, the rotatable foot support section is locked.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 17, 2013Publication date: July 2, 2015Inventor: Anton Rudolf Enserink

Publication number: 20150108279Abstract: A safety system for a traction kite comprises a central load bearing line and sliding control bar arrangement comprising a connection loop for connection to a harness hook, a system hub connecting the loop to the central load bearing line and a bar stopper located along the load bearing line towards the kite relative to the control bar. The bar stopper is retained to the system hub by a retainer which can be released by a primary safety quick release mechanism in such a way, that engaging the primary safety mechanism allows the control bar to slide along the central load bearing line towards the kite to reduce the power of the kite to a safe level.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 10, 2013Publication date: April 23, 2015Inventor: Anton Rudolf Enserink
