Abstract: In one form, a bracing structure for bracing a support structure having props for ceiling formworks is provided and includes: two vertical sections joined to one another by at least one horizontal section, at least one seating element on each vertical section each having at least one seating recess for placement of a prop, whereby the opening direction of the seating recesses on the respective vertical sections point away from each other and the opening directions lie parallel to the plane defined by the vertical sections, wherein each vertical section has at least one fastener for attaching the bracing structure to the prop with at least one of the fasteners comprising at least one of the seating elements. In other forms, a fastener for attachment of a supporting structure to a prop is provided, and a method for bracing a support structure having props for ceiling formworks is provided.
