The base station transceiver (100) is operable in a coverage area (205) of another base station transceiver (200). The other base station transceiver (200) is operable to transmit radio signals in a repetitive sequence of radio frames, wherein in at least one of the radio frames in the sequence the other base station transceiver (200) is operable to transmit with a reduced transmission power or to suspend transmission compared to at least one other of the radio frames in the sequence. The apparatus (10) comprises an interface (12) operable to receive sequence information on the at least one of the radio frames in the sequence, during which the other base station transceiver (200) is operable to transmit with the reduced transmission power or to suspend transmission compared to the at least one other of the radio frames in the sequence.
