  • Publication number: 20100192404
Abstract: A dryer fire protection system has a control circuit for controlling power supplied from a source, via a power cord comprising a neutral line and at least one entry live line, to a load connected with the neutral line and at least one load live line. The control circuit has a relay comprising an electromagnet and a normally closed switch, when the electromagnet is de-energized, to allow power to flow between the entry live line and corresponding load live line. An electromagnet control circuit connected between the entry line and neutral line has a plurality of normally open thermostats in parallel and mounted within the cabinet external of a drum and ducting associated therewith. Power is normally disconnected from the electromagnetic circuit to de-energize the electromagnet. Excessive cabinet heat closes at least one thermostat to power the electromagnet circuit to energize the electromagnet to open the switch.

  • Publication number: 20090264038
Abstract: The spunbonded nonwoven (W) has high elastic recovery properties and comprises a plurality of multi-component filaments. Each filament, preferably of the sheath/core type, comprises at least a first polymeric component and a second polymeric component. The first polymeric component comprises thermoplastic polyurethane, and the second polymeric component comprises an elastic propylene-based olefin copolymer, and more particularly an ethylene propylene copolymer, preferably comprising at least 80 wt % of propylene units. Said spunbonded nonwoven (W) can be easily thermal-bonded with polyolefin-based nonwoven layer(s), especially polypropylene-based layer(s), in order to make a composite nonwoven, particularly suitable for the hygienic industry (diapers, . . . ).

  • Publication number: 20090068912
Abstract: The elastic spunbonded nonwoven has high elastic recovery properties and includes a plurality of multicomponent filaments. Each multicomponent filament, preferably of the sheath/core type, includes a first polymeric component extending along the length of the filament in at least a first section of the filament, and a second polymeric component extending along the length of the filament in at least a second section of the filament that is distinct from the first section. The first polymeric component comprises an elastic propylene-based olefin copolymer, and the second polymeric component comprises an elastic propylene-based olefin and has a melt flow rate that is higher than the melt flow rate of the first polymeric component. The elastic propylene-based olefin copolymer for the first polymeric component and for the second polymeric component includes propylene and from 10 to 25 weight % of one or more C2 and/or C4 to C10 alpha-olefin co-monomers.
