  • Publication number: 20220273887
Abstract: A cap assembly for a drug delivery device is described that includes a cap housing defining an internal cavity and a remover configured to be insertably mounted within the internal cavity of the cap housing and having a sidewall with a generally annular configuration. A plurality of retention portions of the remover extend radially inwardly from the sidewall within the internal cavity, such that the plurality of retention portions are configured to grip a needle shield inserted through the remover within the internal cavity of the cap housing. A drug delivery device is also described that includes a cap assembly kit including a cap housing having an internal cavity sized to interchangeably receive one of a first remover or a second remover, where the first remover is configured to receive a first type of needle shield and the second remover is configured to receive a second type of needle shield.

  • Publication number: 20150001941
Abstract: Methods employ a power saving mode which disconnects power from the AC mains during periods of device inactivity to eliminate power drawn from the AC mains. To allow monitoring of user-associated events while disconnected from the AC mains, power is drawn from a power source separate from the AC mains to power up components and circuitries used for monitoring. When monitoring inputs are received, connection with the AC mains is re-established to provide AC power to the device to accommodate functions.

  • Publication number: 20050263441
Abstract: An adsorbent composition comprising a nanostructured titanium oxide material of the formula TiO2?, where 0?x?1 with nanotubular and/or nanofibrilar morphology, high oxygen deficiency, having an orthorhombic JT crystalline phase described by at least one of the space groups 59 Pmmn, 63 Amma, 71 Immm or 63 Bmmb, and comprising between 0 and 20 weight percent of a transition metal oxide is used for the selective adsorption of nitrogen compounds and/or sulfur compounds from light and intermediate petroleum fractions.
