  • Patent number: 10702767
Abstract: Gaming systems and methods for a battling game which may use two or four physical toy tops and a stadium-shaped toy game board arena for physical game play interactions between game players. The battling 2-in-1 stadium battle dome allows a number of users to play on one side and then flip over to play on the other, encouraging 2 and 4 player battles. The stadium is shaped like a dome, enclosed on both sides, and there are two different sides to play on, overall creating four different play surfaces. The toy has double sided suspended play surfaces for corresponding game play with various surfaces of the different sides.

  • Publication number: 20170328912
Abstract: A method of making a sensor includes subjecting a metal substrate to a solution having glycopolymer chains and attaching the glycopolymer chains to the metal substrate to form a glycopolymer-functionalized metal substrate that can bind a lectin target. A lectin target can be a food allergen or a toxin. The metal substrate can include a plasmonic metal. A method of using the sensor includes incubating a portion of the sensor in a sample fluid and another portion of the sensor in a control fluid. Spectral data sets are generated via Raman Spectroscopy for each portion of the sensor. The presence and concentration of a lectin target in the sample fluid is determined by comparing the spectral data sets.

  • Patent number: 9211484
Abstract: The present invention relates to a plan and a process for regenerating degraded heat transfer oil. The plant includes a distillation column for separating heavy components. The distillation column has an upper part and a lower part, the upper part having: a first inlet for receiving degraded oil, and a head having a first outlet for expelling light component vapor. The plant also includes a rectifier, for receiving the vapor, and having: an upper part having a second outlet for expelling light components; and a lower part having a third outlet for expelling regenerated oil. The distillation column further includes a fourth outlet for letting heavy components out in the lower part of the distillation column, a pressure transmitter at the first inlet, a pressure and temperature transmitter at the first outlet, temperature transmitters inside the distillation column, level switches, an automatic valve at the fourth outlet, and an electric resistance for maintaining the oil in a liquid state.

  • Publication number: 20130236484
Abstract: The present invention relates to isolated Visceral leishmaniasis (VL) antigens that are useful in therapeutic and vaccine compositions for stimulating a VL specific immunological response. The identified antigens are also useful in diagnostic assays to determine the presence of active VL in an individual. Combinations of antibodies raised against these antigens are especially useful in detection of VL infections. Accordingly, the present invention includes polypeptide molecules, nucleic acid molecules, vaccine compositions, diagnostic assays, and methods of diagnosis and monitoring treatment related to these VL antigens.

  • Publication number: 20130118890
Abstract: The invention can be used to improve the yield of degraded heat transfer oil (1) recovered from a solar thermal facility, comprising the successive separation of heavy components (4) (ortho-, meta- and para-terphenyl) and light components (7) (phenol and benzene). The plant comprises: an air-cooled cooler (2) which cools the degraded heat transfer oil (1) to obtain a cooled oil (12); a distillation column (3) which separates the heavy components (4) and a vapour (15) of light components (7) plus oil from the cooled heat transfer oil (12); and a rectifier (6) which separates the light components (7) and the regenerated oil (17) from the vapour (15). The method comprises the cooling of the degenerated heat transfer oil (1) in the air-cooled cooler (2), the separation of the heavy components (4) in the distillation column (3), and the separation of the light components (7) and the regenerated oil (17) in the rectifier (6).
