Abstract: An electronic device (100) of interface between input/output peripherals (200) or devices and an electronic computer (300), the device being configured for allowing the receiving/transmitting of data and/or commands between at least an input/output peripheral (200) or device and at least an electronic computer (300) and including inside it at least one memory (105) including a writable portion wherein it is possible to store a plurality of commands to be transmitted from the electronic computer (300) to the input/output peripheral (200) and a plurality of data transmitted from the input/output peripheral (200) towards the electronic computer; the electronic device (100) presenting itself to the electronic computer (300) as a mass storage peripheral and being configured for allowing the interface of the at least one device or input/output peripheral (200) to the electronic computer (300) without the need of preventive installation of software driver on the electronic computer (300).

Abstract: Real time system for two-directional memorization and transmission of the controls and data for a processor in the I/O process, with external serial peripherals such as graphic tablets and/or digitizers for the handwritten signature, which utilises an external medium for storing static data so as to constitute a transmission buffer capable of operating with the serial peripheral unit seen as a “USB drive” removable virtual disc. There is only used the file constituted as a linear sequential succession of data in sectors of constant dimensions, which can be shared between the serial peripheral unit and the processor, which can both read and write it, in virtually coinciding instants. There is defined the transmission of asynchronous I/O with data blocks with contents in the order of the Kbyte and a storage area as large as desired, used as a temporary storage for the passage of data awaiting to be transmitted.

Abstract: In the field of electronics specialized tablets are used to capture signatures, capable of registering, in addition to the shape of the signature, its “biometric data”: the instantaneous speed of the stylus and the instantaneous pressure exerted on the tip. A human can perfectly see and recognize in minimum details the shape of the signature, but cannot evaluate at the same time also instantaneous speed and pressure data; the method, subject of the present invention, solves the problem due to the presentation at the same time of the shape of the signature, of instantaneous pressure and of instantaneous speed, being based on the creation of a three-dimensional graphical representation of the signature with an immediate optical effect, where the signature appears as a three-dimensional solid.
