    Abstract: A shaft having an end adapted to be inserted in an opening of a socket for transmitting rotational forces between the shaft and the socket. The end comprises a first portion defining a first axis and having a predetermined first cross section generally complementary to the socket opening, and a second portion connected to the first portion and having a second cross section similar to the first cross section. The second portion is axially offset from the first portion to cause an interference fit when the end is inserted in the socket opening.
