  • Patent number: 5862743
Abstract: A food dough apportioning device including a housing, a feeder unit (4), a cutting device (8), and a discharge unit (9). The feeder unit has a plurality of support elements which project from a front surface of the housing. The feeder unit and dispensing unit include rollers for driving conveyor belts, respectively. An adjustment unit (90) is provided for adjusting the tension of the discharge conveyor belt (91). Also, a number of rotatable shafts are keyed to rollers of a roller train. One of the shafts is arranged approximately centrally to the other shafts of the rolling train, the cutting device, and the device for moving the conveyor belt of the feeder unit. The centrally located shaft is attached by clamping the shaft between the front surface of the housing shaft and a disk by screwing on a knob on an outer end of the shaft. The disk partially covers the shafts and detains all of the rollers, as well as the cutting device.

  • Patent number: 5753276
Abstract: A machine for rounding pieces of dough including a circular basin (10) on the inside of which is arranged a mobile component (21) having respective truncated conical circumferential surfaces (13, 24) which taper in opposite directions to form a concave annular cavity (V) for receiving a piece of dough (M). The respective conical surfaces are provided with grooves (131, 241). The mobile component (21) is rotatably driven while at the same time being cyclically shifted radially by activating device (15) so as to progressively round the dough pieces. A cover (C) is provided on the basin (10) and includes a feeding conduit (A), and a cylindrical band (32) which includes a projecting part (33) coinciding with a cutout (16) in annular wall (12) so as to form a discharge conduit (E) for processed pieces of dough (M).

  • Patent number: 5320032
Abstract: A citrus fruit squeezing machine has a section for accumulating and feeding the fruit, a section for squeezing the fruit and respective sections for conveying and collecting the juice and the peels of the squeezed fruit. The section for squeezing the fruit includes two plates disposed laterally as well as symmetrically to a cutting blade. The plates are supported in such a way as to be convergent and inclined downwards and towards the cutting blade. The cutting blade is fitted on a support plate having its lower part pivoted on the framework of the machine. The support plate is also connected with a toggle compound lever which can be manually driven or driven by a motor. The toggle compound lever moves the support plate towards the plates which are both straddled by the cutting blade when they are in the starting position. At first, the cutting blade moves toward the piece of fruit and cuts a fairly good part of it.

  • Patent number: 5199348
Abstract: Machine for extracting juice from citrus fruit in which the fruit are squeezed between a fixed plate (41) and a movable plate (42) mutually convergent at their lower part. At the beginning of every operative cycle, the fruit (6) is introduced between the plates from their upper part. During the first half of the operating cycle, the movable plate (42) approaches the fixed plate (41) by the action of a crank (31-32-34) - connecting rod (35) unit controlled by a motor reducer (30). The approaching movement of the movable plate (42) causes the squeezing of the fruit (6). The squeezed juice falls into the hopper (22) and, then, into the container (8). Afterwards, the movable plate (42) goes away from the fixed plate (41) and the squeezing residual product (6A) comes off said plates (41,42), it falls on the inclined grill (23) and it slides from the grill into the drawer (26).

  • Patent number: 4971546
Abstract: A machine to roll dough into a substantially disc-shaped form includes two pairs of rollers and a device for rotating and accompanying the rolled dough from the first pair of rollers to the second pair of rollers. As the dough exits the first pair of rollers it rests on the lower edge of a small guide balance which moves the dough in a fixed trajectory and rotates the dough such that the dough enters the second pair of rollers in a direction, in relation to the dough approximately perpendicular to the direction the dough exited the first pair of rollers. The guide balance follows the same trajectory regardless for variations in the weight of the dough.

  • Patent number: 4636164
Abstract: A machine for transforming a piece of dough of globoidal form into a substantially circular puff-pastry includes a feeding duct for receiving the pieces of dough to be worked and bringing them in a first roll train disposed below the duct for flattening the pieces of dough along a first direction and to lodge the same on an inclined plate, thus permitting the so obtained elliptical pre-manufactured doughs to slide down toward a second roll train positioned below the first roll train. Each pre-manufactured dough which is discharged from the first roll train meets a first oscillating arm which is pivoted at an end portion of a second oscillating arm which in turn is pivoted on the structure of the machine. The pre-manufactured dough pushes the first oscillating arm downward, while contemporaneously causing the second oscillating arm to be rotated until the pre-manufactured dough is completely released by the first roll train.
