  • Publication number: 20230091588
Abstract: A method and a system dynamically adapt a passenger transport capacity of a transport line to the number of passengers determined for the transport line. The system contains a main evaluator configured for automatically determining, as a function of the time, the number of passengers for the transport line, and a processor configured for acquiring the number of passengers as a function of the time, a nominal timetable, and a nominal passenger transport capacity of each vehicle of the line. The processor applies a trained function to the number of passengers, and the trained function has been trained by a machine learning algorithm for predicting a future temporal evolution of the number of passengers. The processor is configured for determining a measure for adapting the transport capacity of the line to the future temporal evolution. The system is further configured for applying the measure to the transport line.

  • Publication number: 20230091323
Abstract: Compositions and methods for making biocompatible articles are provided. A method includes preparing a 3D printable mixture and depositing successive layers of the mixture in a predetermined pattern to form a porous biocompatible article. The predetermined pattern has a porosity suitable for a bone or cartilage scaffold. Associated 3D printable compositions and porous articles made from the described methods are also described. The preparing a 3D printable mixture can comprise conjugating an alkyne-terminated polymer to a peptide to form a peptide-containing composite, or providing a mixture that comprises a ceramic material and a binder, and wherein the 3D printable mixture comprises from 50 wt. % to 80 wt. % of the ceramic material.

  • Publication number: 20220354731
Abstract: An apparatus and method for applying caresses and massages, comprising an apparatus composed of a fixed lower section, which acts as a base, contains the lifting mechanisms, and houses a movable upper section, with a housing that accommodates the rest of the components of the device; a SCARA-type deployable robotic arm housed in the upper section and composed by a plurality of staggered parallel links and articulated at their ends by a power transmission mechanism comprised by motors with belts placed on pulleys coupled to concentric hollow shafts. The upper section is placed on a sliding and rotary platform that supports and guides it on the vertical axis through a vertical lead screw lifting mechanism, also allowing it to rotate on its own axis. The apparatus performs the movements by implementing a method of preset caress and massage patterns assisted by artificial intelligence and guided by several sensors.

  • Patent number: 11144981
Abstract: Various embodiments herein include an engine that uses data science, history, and trends to successfully determine and suggest the complimentary add on and upsell items that are tailored to at least some of the customer, current trends, product popularity, recommendations, and other such factors. One embodiment, in the form of a method, includes receiving, from a process involved in processing an open transaction, data representative of at least one of products and services that are subjects of the open transaction. The method further includes querying a recommendation engine for at least one of product and service recommendations based on the received data representative of products and services and receiving, in response to the query, at least one product or service recommendation. The method may then provide the at least one product recommendation to the process involved in processing the open transaction.

  • Publication number: 20210074389
Abstract: A software utility that collects a suite of psychobehavioral, neuropsychological, and biometrically relevant data from neuropsychological tests, and from passive and active interaction with a smart device. Passive interaction is a user's interaction that is not explicitly goal directed. Active interaction is explicitly goal directed (e.g., navigating menus, or interacting with an application). This data is used to: 1) provide an objective profile of memory, cognition, perception, motor function, verbal ability, and fluid intelligence; 2) adapt hardware, software, and user interface settings to make informed decisions regarding accessibility options; 3) to detect usage by someone other than the native user of the device, and 4) to provide a unifying protocol (e.g. an API) for the transmission and receipt of data collected from onboard sensor arrays and software—for processing either locally or remotely.

  • Publication number: 20200129376
Abstract: A pharmaceutical packaging which includes access resistant features includes an outer shell, an insert, and a compartment with a divider tray. When the compartment is placed in an interior of the outer shell, the compartment engages with the insert through a first detent element on the insert, and a second detent element on the compartment, the first detent element and second detent element forming a detent arrangement. To release the detent arrangement and gain access to the pharmaceutical packaging, a user must exert a force on release sections of the outer shell. The actuation of the release sections disengage the detent arrangement and allow the user to access the compartment.
