    Abstract: A sporting device having a display integrated into the construction of the sporting device and preferably configured to be responsive to the sporting activity. Preferably, the display is formed by a liquid crystal sheet that is visible through the structure of the sporting device. The liquid crystal sheet can be remotely operated or otherwise configured to provide a pre-selected display. Alternatively, operation of the liquid crystal sheet is controlled by the activity associated with the sporting device.
