  • Patent number: 11911187
Abstract: Presented are concepts for monitoring a health status of a subject. One such concept employs determining a trend in a health parameter of the subject based input data relating to a plurality of event occurrences for the subject. One or more irregularities are detected in the determined trend and health status of the subject is then determined based on the detected irregularities.

  • Patent number: 10072973
Abstract: The present disclosure pertains to a light sensing system configured to determine an amount of ambient light exposure experienced by a subject. The present invention wirelessly exchanges light information between different wearable devices of the same user and/or between devices of different users. Local and/or central light profile databases are built-up by the system and are shared between the devices so that light data that is typical for a location at a specific time of day and year can be used to estimate current ambient light levels for situations in which no measurement can be taken.

  • Patent number: 9925502
Abstract: A flow device for an exhaust system includes a body that defines an interior cavity. An exhaust inlet passage is disposed in the interior cavity. An exhaust outlet passage is disposed in the interior cavity so that at least a portion of the exhaust inlet passage circumferentially surrounds at least a portion of the exhaust outlet passage. A doser is adapted to inject reductants into the interior cavity of the body such that the reductants are injected in the same general direction as the direction of flow of the exhaust gases.

  • Publication number: 20150337392
Abstract: The invention relates to the surprising finding that biomarkers corresponding to ACAA1, AP1M2, CGN, DDR1, EPS8L2, FASTKD1, GMIP, IKBKE, P2RX4, P4HB, PHKG2, PPFIBP2, PPP1R16A, RASSF7, RNF183, SIRT6, TJP3, EFEMP2, SOCS2, and DCN are differentially expressed in control samples as compared to samples from patients having endometrial cancer and are therefore useful for detecting endometrial cancer. In particular these biomarkers having excellent sensitivity, specificity, and/or the ability to separate affected from non affected individuals. Furthermore, the inventors found that the differential expression of these biomarkers in primary endometrial cancer tumor tissue is correlated to their expression level in uterine fluid samples as compared to control values. Thus these biomarkers are robust in that they are found to be differentially expressed in several different types of samples from affected and individuals.

  • Patent number: 9174248
Abstract: The device for cleaning at least one medical hearing unit includes an earpiece, and a space for receiving the earpiece, the space having at least one seat receiving the earpiece and an orifice with a cavity underneath. There is a circulator for a liquid within the space to contact the earpiece. The cavity includes an outlet for flow or aspiration of liquid, an opening opposite, and, below each orifice, a directing device to guide the liquid towards and under each orifice, as far as the outlet, in such a way that liquid flows across the earpiece.
