SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR EVALUATION OF THE DEPOSITION IN TUBES OF THE FURNACES OF A DELAYED COKING UNIT
Publication number: 20230168157Abstract: The present invention addresses to a system and methodology for evaluating the deposition in tubes of the furnaces of delayed coking unit (DCU) in order to reduce the costs involved with premature shutdowns. With this system, load rankings are obtained, influences of certain loads on processing are evaluated, and additives that reduce deposition are further evaluated. Consequently, the results obtained by such a system allow greater flexibility for the follow-up engineer to optimize his delayed coking unit in order to increase load or increase the unit campaign time, drastically reducing costs in premature shutdowns, or increasing its return by increasing load and shutdowns, since the load is limited by the degree of deposit formation, and that directly affects the wall temperature.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 29, 2022Publication date: June 1, 2023Inventors: Iris Medeiros Junior, Luiz Andre Guedine Santos, Marco Antonio Gomes Teixeira, Fernando Garcia Diniz -
Publication number: 20230170060Abstract: The present invention refers to a portable analysis system that, from analytical methodologies set based on digital images acquired by portable devices and accessories developed in an expedited way, allows the performance of the analytical test without technical deepening by the executor of the analysis. Such methodologies allow the evaluation of chemical species relevant to the O&G sector, for following up compositional parameters in aqueous samples and analytical monitoring of production and effluent treatment. Thus, a quick implementation is possible considering eventual diagnoses associated with the parameters of interest and following up of different processes. The application can be in any laboratory present in an operational unit, whether offshore or onshore, as well as it can be used for direct measurement in the field, depending on the necessary environmental and operating conditions.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 22, 2022Publication date: June 1, 2023Inventors: Rogerio Mesquita De Carvalho, Rosane Alves Fontes, Helida Vasques Peixoto Vieira, Raphael Dos Santos Evangelista, Maria Luisa Aleixo Gonçalves, Rafaella Magliano Balbi De Faria, Helena Cristina Da Gama Leitão, Leandro Augusto Frata Fernandes, Stefan Suarez Ferreira, Aline Machado De Azevedo Novaes, Marco Antônio Gomes Teixeira, Igor Domingos Rodrigues, Gustavo Lelis Da Silva, Caroline Dos Santos Silva

Patent number: 5722796Abstract: A subsea system comprises a central template that is piled into the seabed and carried wing modules that are connected to the template by hinges. This allows the template to be deployed and the wing modules attached subsequently or for the wing modules to be folded upwardly into a collapsed disposition as the template is deployed. In either case, the template can be deployed through the moonpool of a vessel and does not require a heavy lifting barge. An example of a module usable with the template is a hinge-over guidebase which can allow the commencement of drilling of a well while a manifold and christmas tree are being constructed for subsequent attachment. Thus, installation of the system is easy and drilling of the well can commence quickly.Type: GrantFiled: April 1, 1997Date of Patent: March 3, 1998Inventors: Tore Halvorsen, Jimmy Andrews, Luis Antonio Gomes Araujo, Sverre Corneliussen, Christopher E.
