    Abstract: A reactant delivery system for engine exhaust gas treatment may include a tank in which a reactant is received, a pumping device, a pressure relief device, and a reactant distribution device. The pumping device may have an inlet disposed within the interior of the tank to receive the reactant, and an outlet through which the reactant is discharged. The pressure relief device may have an inlet in fluid communication with the outlet of the pumping device, a primary outlet to discharge the reactant under pressure to a downstream location, and a bypass outlet through which at least some of the reactant discharged from the pumping device is selectively discharged. And the reactant distribution device may be in fluid communication with the bypass outlet of the pressure relief device and have a plurality of outlets to distribute the reactant to at least two different locations within the tank.

    Abstract: A fuel supply module may include a reservoir and a fuel filter carried by the reservoir. In one implementation, the filter assembly may be pivoted relative to the reservoir when the fuel pump module is inserted through an access opening of the fuel tank. Thereafter, when the fuel pump module is mounted to the fuel tank, the filter assembly may pivot to a second position angularly displaced from the first position. In another implementation, the position of the filter assembly is fixed relative to the reservoir.

    Abstract: This invention provides a low profile fuel tank assembly having an elongated fuel delivery module mounted horizontally within the fuel tank and independent from a flange which covers a sole fuel tank access hole. An integrated fuel pump and associated motor of the module dictates the length of the module. The motor and pump has a rotational axis preferably disposed substantially horizontal within the fuel tank. Because the fuel delivery module is supported by the fuel tank shell or bottom, independent of the flange, the access hole can be located anywhere on the fuel tank in order to simplify fuel tank ingress and minimize repair procedures. During assembly, the module is inserted into the fuel tank through the access hole, and is then placed and snap-locked preferably into a bracket structure permanently engaged to an inside surface of the fuel tank.
