  • Publication number: 20150052606
Abstract: In the method of the invention said detection is performed in an Anomaly Detection System, or ADS, by analyzing the behavior of a network and looking for deviations with respect to a normality, said normality indicating common behavior of users of said network and being defined previous to said detection. The method is characterised in that it comprises building a plurality of detection models, each of said plurality of detection models adapted to different entities of said network and to different algorithms, said different algorithms implementing different detection strategies and said plurality of detection models representing said normality. The system of the invention is arranged to implement the method of the invention.

  • Patent number: 8826400
Abstract: A system for preventing fraud at a service provider's website has a fake credential distributor for creating a set of valid but fake credentials to access such website and distributing such set to a plurality of predefined websites, a fake user database including said set of fake credentials and a monitor for real-time monitoring any user login attempt from any origin network location to the website and comparing the credentials used in such user login attempt with the set of fake credentials in the fake user database. If the credentials used in such a login attempt coincide with any fake credential in the fake user database, such origin network location is added to a tainted connections list; and if there is another login attempt of a user from a network location in said tainted connections list, said user access request is refused even when it is using real credentials.

  • Publication number: 20140236824
Abstract: In the method of the invention an outgoing payment service is requested by an application running on a smart device and it comprises the development of specific software residing in said smart device and the mobile network to control and detect if said outgoing payment service has the corresponding authorization and can be executed or if it is part of a fraud.

  • Publication number: 20140223555
Abstract: Method and system for improving the detection of security threats in a communication network, including security devices which generate security events. The present invention assigns a dynamic tag to each event according to the description of the event, and the tags related to the same security threat are clustering forming a data model pattern. An artificial intelligence algorithm, learning from known real information, analyzes said patterns and decides whether an alarm should be generated or not.

  • Publication number: 20130332600
Abstract: A system for monitoring online communications of at least one LAN user, specially useful for controlling children's internet interactions. The system comprises a central communications server and locally deployed equipment in the user's home LAN, the locally deployed equipment comprising means adapted to automatically enumerate and store all the peers of the local user, analyze natural language of the conversations between the user and the peers to assign an age range of the peers through morphological and syntactical language use, identify customer-specified words and generate a network of peers and alarms for users according to previously determined rules; and the central communications server comprising means to collect anonymized data from the pairs.

  • Publication number: 20130269033
Abstract: A method and system for classifying traffic in a communication network. The method comprises the steps of: capturing IP packets (35) from said communication network; profiling said captured packets (36) by assigning one vector to each of said captured packets (36) according to a set of determined characteristics; calculating a set of classification values for each of said profiled packets (37) according to its IP header information and its specific protocol header information; rewriting said captured packets' (35) headers, including said calculated classification values on an IP header.

  • Publication number: 20130219184
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for secure electronically signing a document, which comprises: reading the document to be signed by an application; presenting a graphical representation of said document to a user; and accepting the document to be signed by the user. The method also comprises: at a server, computing a hash function, an extended validation function for the hash and a readable summary function of the to-be-signed document; from the server, sending the hash function and the extended validation function for the hash to the application and to a signing device; from said the server, sending said hash function and the readable summary function of the to-be-signed document to a secondary device.

  • Publication number: 20130166904
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method and a system for protecting private multimedia content which comprises a central server in communication with a client application, characterized in that a user uploads a private multimedia content to the central server and a reference file is generated including a pointer to the private multimedia content and access requirements associated. The reference file is uploaded to multimedia servers and other users of the network download it through a web browser. The client application extracts the pointer from the reference file and sends a request to the central server, where it is checked if the request fulfils the access requirements associated for the private multimedia content requested.

  • Publication number: 20120137362
Abstract: The invention relates to a collaborative system for security information exchange between users, based on the fact that a determined function (whether storing or processing) is spread out at different points of a network to achieve more scalable processing and storing factors than if they were all done at one and the same point. The invention proposes architecture with a centralized element, referred to as “Central Device”, through which said user devices share information with the remaining users to finally activate an alert or rule it out.
