Abstract: A method of treating a mild and moderate Alzheimer's Disease (AD), including conducting a low-volume plasma exchange (LVPE) to a subject suffering from the mild and moderate Alzheimer's Disease (AD); and administering an effective amount of a composition including human albumin at a concentration between 5% (w/v) and 25% (w/v) to the subject during the LVPE to replace with a subject's plasma. Use of low volume plasma exchange for the treatment of Alzheimer's Disease in early and middle stages. A composition including human albumin at a concentration between 5% (w/v) and 25% (w/v) for the treatment of mild and moderate Alzheimer's Disease (AD) by low-volume plasma exchange (LVPE).

An image capturing device is provided on a mounting assembly of the vehicle for an exterior field of view (FOV) of the vehicle extending sideward and rearward outside the vehicle and encompassing a portion of the exterior part of the vehicle. An electronic control unit (ECU) is connected to the image capturing device to obtain a captured image. An electronic display device is connected to the ECU and is located inside the vehicle and to be used by a driver. A gesture detector is configured to obtain at least one position of at least one part of the driver's body. The ECU is configured to adjust the FOV based on the obtained position and the display device is configured to display the adjusted FOV in a displayed image region, which can be moved within the captured image.

Abstract: The subject of the present invention is a method of immunological analysis for detection in biological fluids of anti-bodies against human GSTT1 (anti-hGSTT1). The present invention also concerns the use of said immunological analysis method for the diagnosis, prognosis, follow-up and monitoring of pathological conditions associated with the presence of anti-GSTT1 in biological fluids, and also concerns a tool kit for putting said method into practice.

The quilt top layer comprises an outer fabric layer, a fiber batt layer, a convoluted foam cushion and an inner fabric layer, all being secured together by stitching to define a select quilt pattern. The convoluted foam cushion has a planar outer surface in contact with the fiber batt layer, and a convoluted inner surface defined by alternating peaks and valleys, the inner surface facing the spring unit. A fabric flange secures a perimeter edge of the quilt top layer to a corner edge of the cover fabric layer.
