  • Publication number: 20230309640
Abstract: A neck protection system includes a support structure, helmet, force transmission arrangement, actuator arrangement, sensor arrangement, and controller. The force transmission arrangement is coupled to the support structure and the helmet and applies a relative force between them. The actuator arrangement applies a load to the force transmission arrangement to initiate the relative force between the support structure and the helmet. The sensor arrangement measures movement changes of a vehicle. The controller is connected to the sensor arrangement to receive data representing the measured movement changes, and connected to the actuator arrangement, and generates and sends control commands to the actuator arrangement based on which the actuator arrangement applies the load to the force transmission arrangement.

  • Publication number: 20230282124
Abstract: A system with a first mobile entity and second mobile entities is described. The system implements an approach where the second mobile entities are commanded to move along a predetermined trajectory to protect the first mobile entity from external threats.

  • Publication number: 20230099233
Abstract: A method for localizing a signal source which emits a signal, including determining a location-dependent bearing measurement of the signal source, receiving a type identification of the signal source, ascertaining a location-dependent residence probability (lthreat({circumflex over (p)}), lshoot({circumflex over (p)}), lalt ({circumflex over (p)})) of the signal source depending on the received type identification of the signal source, superposing the location-dependent bearing measurement of the signal source with the location-dependent residence probability (lthreat({circumflex over (p)}), lshoot({circumflex over (p)}), lalt({circumflex over (p)})).

  • Patent number: 10127678
Abstract: A technique for modular high-speed video vibration analysis of a structure. An embodiment of a device for high-speed video vibration analysis comprises a camera arrangement configured to generate at least two high-speed video streams of the structure and a data analyzer unit, connected to the camera arrangement. The data analyzer unit comprises a processing unit configured to extract vibrational data of at least a portion of the captured structure by considering estimated deformations of at least a portion of the captured structure along a first plane and determined depth information of at least a portion of the captured structure along a second plane different from the first plane or along an axis included in the second plane.
